Alpha And Omega

Chapter 21

Mark hops out the car, and he is in tears too. Everyone is. Mitch runs up to Alex, and Alex pulls him into a bone crushing hug. They just hold each other, and the sight breaks my heart.

"What happened?" I asks once Mark is next to me. "Alex's mother passed away man. He's tried to hold it together, he really has, and she was getting better she was. Damn. You should have saw him.

When they gave him the news, his smile dropped. He didn't say anything, no sound, just tears." He explains and I look back over at Alex. He hasn't let Mitch go, and I don't think he planned on any time soon.

I sigh and walk over to them. "Come inside Alex, you can hug Mitch there." I say and he looks at me. I reach out my hand and he takes it. Mitch stays attached and he carries him in. Once everyone was inside, Alex curls up with Mitch and refuses to let go.

Mitch just holds him the best he can whispering sweet things in his ear. The rest of the omegas huddle around them and provide much comfort. Mark stands there, no tears no nothing, just taking in the scene.

I grab some water bottles for everyone and pass them out. Mitch asks for two straws and I quickly provide them. He puts one in his bottle and they the other in Alex's. He helps him drink the water and soon the tears stop.

"We were supposed to go house hunting, but I think we should wait. Unless I can leave majority of the pack here." Mark says and I nod. "That's fine. Leave a beta from each pack and an alpha from each pack. The omegas aren't going anywhere." I say and he nods.

I grab Todrick and Avi and Mark grabs Kendell. "I'm leaving Travis because he is the only alpha." He says and I nod. "Mitch." I say and he looks up. "We'll be back. Take good care of Alex and around 5 have Kristen and Jasmin start dinner." I say and he smiles.

"Alright alpha. Be safe, all of you." He says and I kiss both his and Alex's foreheads. "We will." And with that we were out the door. We get into the car, I'm driving and Mark is up front with me. The rest are in the back.

We make it out the driveway and down the street before I pull over. "Mark when are you going to cry?" I ask and he looks at me. "I know you and Alex are brothers, don't play dumb." I say and he covers his face.

"I just need more time to process before I can truly breakdown. I'll let you know when it's happening though." He says and I nod. I continue the drive and soon we come up on a large house for sell. They were having an open house, so we stopped in.

We walked around a little bit, and Mark seemed to really like it. He takes the lady's information before we move onto the next one. We do this for almost three hours before he decides he likes the first house best.

We make our way back to the house in silence until the most heartbreaking sob comes from my passenger seat. I quickly pull over and hop out. I run around and pull Mark out of his seat and into a bone crushing hug.

"I'm never going to see her again. I'm not going to be able to feel her warmth, see her smile, to be able to talk to her. She was my favorite person, and now I have to bury her." He sobs out, and all I can do is hold him.

"She was getting better! She was, how can, I don't fucking understand! She was okay! She was just laughing with me yesterday! She can't be gone." He continues and it breaks my heart.

I had met his mom in the past, and she was the sweetest person. She treated me like a son even before my parents passed away. She was my second mom, and I was going through this again.

"She's in a better place man. She's watching over both you and Alex, and she couldn't be prouder. No more suffering, no more pain. She's free and with you in everything you do. Don't think of this as good bye, but see you later you will be with her again one day."

He looks at me and through his tears, he smiles. "Thanks man." He says and I nod. "Let's get home." I say and we both climb back in the car. The rest of the drive was filled with Kendell and Mark taking about his mother.

Once home I open the door and I'm greeted by a clean house and the smell of food. All the alphas and betas are watching a movie and the omegas are no where to be found. "Where are the omegas?" I ask and Jeremy looks up.

"Kristen and Jasmin are in the kitchen and everyone else is in the backyard." He says and I nod. Mark and I head to the backyard to see Mitch Kacy Alex and Kelsey sitting on the swings.

Kacy is on Kelsey's lap and Mitch is on Alex's lap. We both smile and open the door. All four of them look up and both Mitch and Alex come running over. Alex runs right into Mark and Mitch runs up to me.

"Do you find a house?" They both ask simultaneously. They look at each other and Mark and I start to laugh. "Yes. All we have to do now is contact the seller and let them know we want it." Mark explains and they both smile.

"Alex we need to talk." Kendell days from behind us. Mitch looks behind me and waves. Kendell gives him a smile before reaching for Alex's hand. They both walk inside and Mitch look up at me.

When I look down he smiles. "Hi." He says. "Hello there." I say and he smiles. "Maybe that can be our always." He says and I smile. "Ew." Mark says and we both laugh. "Did Kelsey miss me?" He asks and Mitch smiles.

"She couldn't stop talking about you." He replies and he walks over to her. I lean down and peck him lips and he smiles. "I love you baby." I say and he looks me in the eyes. "I love you too."

This was sad! But happier days are around the corner! Look at the picture at the top. It's funny. I want to start doing dedications, so give me people to dedicate these chapters to! Lol I think something's wrong with me. But that's okay I'll live. Love you all!
