Chapter 88

Happy birthday to the best grandpa a child could ask for.

I wake up first, and a lot earlier then normal. My omega is no longer in my arms, and maybe that's why I woke up. His sent came right to me, and I sat up to go find him. I follow my nose down the stairs and into the living room. He's sitting on the couch with a cup of tea, a small light, and a book. He has his glasses on, and he looks absolutely adorable with them hanging slightly lower on his nose.

He looks over in my direction and smiles. He waves me over and I walk into the living room. "Why are you up so early baby?" I ask, sitting down next to him. On instinct he leans into me and I throw my arm over his shoulders. "Since I fell asleep so early, I ended up waking up early." He says and I kiss his temple. "Why didn't you wake me?" I ask and he sits his cup of tea down.

"I didn't wake you because you were tired last night. You needed your sleep, and Avi checked on me not too long ago." He says and I frown. "But Avi isn't your alpha Mitch, I am. You could have a least told me where you were so I wouldn't have to smell you out." I say and he looks at me with a small frown. "It was on your phone alpha. You always check your phone when you got up." He says and I roll my eyes.

"Yeah. When I know my omega is in the bed next to me." I say and he sighs. "Alpha please calm down. Here, have some of my tea." He says handing me the cup. "It was supposed to make me sleep and I was going to come back up as soon as I was done." He says but I shake my head. I take the tea and his book and sit them on the table before picking him up and sitting him on my lap.

"Alpha what after you doing?" He asks, but I just kiss his new mark. He gasps before moaning. "Shh baby, we don't want to wake anyone." I say picking him up. I carry him to our room and place him on the bed. Before I can move back he connects our lips. I grind down against him and he bites my bottom lip. When he lets go I roll off him and he straddles my hips before rolling his forward, rubbing both of our lengths together.

"I had a gift for you last night alpha, but you didn't want it. I'm offering it again, do you want it now?" He asks, a hit of submission in his voice. "Yes. I would love it now." I say and he smiles he gets off of me and points to the bathroom. "Would you wait in there until I'm ready?" He asks and I smile. "Sure baby." I say waking into the bathroom. I listen out to try and figure out what he was doing, but I couldn't hear anything.

"You can come out." I hear, so I walk out. He has a few toys, some different lubes, and cuffs laid out, and he was sitting completely exposed at the top of the bed. "Wow. Umm, baby? I can't... I can't really use any of these this morning. I just, I can't have you screaming waking the whole house. I swear we can save it for the honeymoon, and we can wake the entire beach." I say and he smiles. He climbs off the bed and jumps in my arms, I catch him and he connects our lips briefly.

"Okay. Give me like two minutes to put all this away, and then I'll do whatever you like." He says hopping down and pushing me back into the bathroom. I sigh as he closes the door, if only he knew. He soon throws open the bathroom door, and I jump at the sudden sound. "Are you done?" I ask raising my eyebrow. "Yes sir." He says taking my hand and pulling me to the bed. He lays down and I climb in next to him. I kiss his temple and pull him close before drifting off to sleep again.

This time when I wake up, it's because of the alarm. Mitch wasn't in my arms again, but I heard the shower running, so I knew he was okay. I go to walk into the bathroom, but I hear him singing pacify her by Melanie Martinez. I listen to this for a while before he changes songs to unfaithful by Rihanna. I roll my eyes and walk into the bathroom. "Morning." I mutter and he pops his head out the shower. "Morning." He says before disappearing behind the curtain again.

I roll my eyes and brush my teeth and wash my face. I surprised Mitch hasn't noticed that I'm in a bad mood yet. Once I was finished I walk into the room and get dressed. A few minutes later Mitch comes out and picks his outfit out. "I like your outfit, it suits you." He says and I roll my eyes. "I know how to dress Mitch." I say walking to the door. "Of course sir." He says and I wait for him to finish dressing. That doesn't take long, but he takes a while to do his hair. "Hurry up." I say and he jumps slightly.

"Sorry." He says walking over to me. I open the door and allow him to head out first. He walks downstairs and straight into the kitchen. I walk in behind him to see Todrick in the kitchen cooking. "Would you like some help Toddy?" He asks and Todrick smiles. "Thank you, but no thanks." He says and Mitch nods. "Okay. I'm going to check on Kevin and Kristin." He says before walking off.

"Thanks for breakfast." I say before trying to walk off, but Todrick grabs me. "Are you alright sir?" He asks and I sigh. "Not really. Mitch woke up in the middle of the night and came down here for tea and to read a bit. That's not the problem though. He didn't leave a note or anything, and he's been trying to spice up our love life, and I don't think there's anything wrong with it. Then he's oblivious to the whole upset thing. Like are you even paying attention?" I say and Todrick looks at me with wide eyes.

"Alpha he's not trying to spice anything up, he just wants to try different things. There's nothing wrong with that. And how do you know he's oblivious, it seemed to me he was walking on egg shells around you. Did you see how fast he sprinted out of here?" He says and I roll my eyes. "He did no such thing." I say and he sighs. "Okay alpha." He says before turning back to the food.

Mitch and Kristin both come out at this time, Mitch behind he slightly. "Morning alpha, morning Todrick." She greets and we return it. They both head into the living room and I sigh. "I don't know what to do man." I say and he turns around. "Talk to him." He says before turning back to the stove.

I walk into the front room and Mitch is leaning on Kristin talking. "I don't think he likes it..." He says and she rubs his back. "Well did you explain that you wanted to try something new? That you were curious? If you didn't he might be confused." She says and I smile. "Well he knows now." He says getting up and walking out. "Mitchell." I call out and he turns around. "You don't get to use that tone with me. Not now." He says walking up to me.

Without a word he grabs my arm and drags me to the room. "Alpha you know how I feel about ease dropping. I wouldn't do it to you, yet you do it to me. And about the whole sex thing if you don't like it, that's fine." He says and I pull him into my arms. "Baby I don't know if I don't like it, bit if you want to try something new just let me know." I say and he pouts.

I nip his bottom lip causing him to look up. "I love you." I say connecting our lips. "I love you too alpha." He says after the kiss and I smile. "Good. Now lets go be the great couple we are." I say and he giggles. "Yes sir." He says and I laugh. "Mark and all the other council alphas are coming with their omegas so we can go out. Just thought you should know so you can pick out our outfits." I say and he runs to the closet. "I'll meet you downstairs." He says and I kiss his cheek before making my way out the room.
