Alpha And Omega

Chapter 41

Once we made it home Mark takes Alex to another room and that leaves me to handle Mitch and Jack. We all head to my room and Mitch starts to change. He takes off his shirt and changes into some shorts before climbing into the bed. I lay down with him and Jack climbs in as well.

Mitch snuggles into my side and falls asleep immediately. I kiss his head and hold him until Mark walks in. He doesn't say anything just flops down on the bed next to Jack. Jack runs his hands through his hair and soon they are both sleep.

I finally fall asleep and dream about my wedding day. I'm woken up about 3 hours later by my stomach. After I gave everyone else their dinner, Mitch and I went to bed. I look around and Mark is awake. "Your stomach woke me up." He says and I laugh.

"Sorry." I say and he laughs. "Go eat." Be says and I shake my head. "I don't want to wake him up. He's sleep deprived and that's not good. He could get sick or something." I explain and he rolls his eyes. "He needs to eat too." He says and I nod.

I slide myself out the bed and Mitch groans. "Come on Mitch. You need to eat." I say and he turns over. "No." He says and my eyes go red. "What did you just say?" I growl and he opens his eyes. "I'm getting up now." He says trying to rush past me.

I grab him and pull him back to me. "What did you say." I growl louder and he whimpers. "I'm sorry! Please let me go alpha." He says and I release his arm. "Watch what you say omega." I growl and he nods. "Yes sir." He says before running off.

He puts on a shirt and we head downstairs. Everyone was sitting around and eating when we walked down. Kristen runs up to Mitch and takes his hand. He politely pulls back before following her. They head to the kitchen to get his food before walking into the front room.

I grab my food and go to join them. When I walk in no one notices me so I just listen. "Are you okay? You seem upset." Kristen inquires and Mitch sighs. "I had a slip up and he got mad and now I feel bad." He explains. "Well why do you feel bad?" She asks and Mitch shrugs.

"Maybe because he yelled, or it might be because I'm realizing that I'm not the best omega for him. Maybe I'm just insecure. I don't know." He says and Kristen pulls him into a hug. "Mitchie you're a great omega! Scott is lucky to have you. You have no reason to be insecure either. 

I know that's not how it works, but one day you will see what we all see. For you to be ranked the highest out of the highs and the lows must say something." She says and Mitch stays silent for a while before speaking.

"It's rude to eavesdrop alpha." He says and I sigh. "I'm caught." I say and walk into their line of sight. "Since I'm caught, talk to me." I say and he looks down. "With all due respect, I'd rather not. Not right now." He says and I nod. "Well can I eat in here or...?" I ask and he nods. "You live here to." He says and I sit down.

Kristen continued to talk about her day and Mitch listen to everything. Laughing at her jokes and giving advice where she might of messed up. The most excited thing was Jeremy asked her to be his omega. "Kit that's great! I'm so happy for you. Of anyone deserved it, it's you.

You've worked so hard to get to where you are and I'm glad you did it on your own." He says and she gives him another hug. "That was so sweet of you." She says and Mitch chuckles. They both finish eating and throw there trash away. Much heads back to me and Kristen goes to find Jeremy.

Mitch sits next to me, and before I can daddy anything he starts. "I know I'm not the next omega. I mess up and I have my slip ups, especially when I'm tired. But you snapping right away makes me feel horrible about it. Yes it's something I need to work or, but you yelling doesn't help. It just makes me feel bad." He explains and I kiss his hand.

"I'm sorry baby. I know some things aren't your fault. I could have handled it better knowing how you are when you just wake up. But baby you aren't a bad omega. You do your job so well. Don't even think you're less then outstanding." I say and pull him into my arms.

"Thank you alpha." He says. We stay cuddled up until someone calls my name. I go to get up, but Mitch whines. I lift him and carry him to where my name was called. I walk in to see Avi, Kacy, and Alex sitting down. "What's up?" I ask and Avi smiles. "I've got a question for you. Okay?" Avi says and I nod. "If you are a security guard at Samsung, does that make you guardians if the galaxy?" He asks and I roll my eyes.

"Hahaha. Very funny. Is that all you needed?" I ask and he smiles. "Yeah. If I think of something else I'll ask." He says and I roll my eyes. "Please don't." I say before walking away. I drop Mitch on the couch and sit next to him. "What do you want to do?" I ask and he giggles.

"Kisses...?" He says and I smile. I lean down and capture his lips with mine. It's a sweet subtle  movement and moves from a slow and steady to fast and heated. Before it could get any faster someone calls my came. Mitch groans and I roll my eyes. "It better not be Avi."
