After our bath Mitch picks out our cloths, and we head downstairs. None of the parents were up, so Mitch walks around to see which pack members were up, and where everyone's head was. He comes back with the entire pack, and not many seem happy. "I'm sorry I had to bail on you all like that. Something personal came up and we had to handle it. How was the first day?" I ask and Kristin steps forward.

"Well it was going well, Mitch told me to just be myself. When I started to do that though, my uncle got upset and said I hadn't learned anything from the school. He says he's going to remove me from the pack." She says and Mitch sits down. "Honey he can't do that. Council rules state that all placements are final." Mitch says and I nod. "He's right. No worries." I say and she smiles.

"Jeremy what about you?" I ask and he scoffs. "Besides my step mom everything has been perfect. My father likes Kristin and he approves of the relationship, and that's all I could ask for." He says and I smile. "Avi? What about you man?" I ask and he smiles. "Well Esther is coming today, so I'm pretty excited. Yesterday my parents warmed up to me, no fighting so that's good." He says and I smile.

"Kacy what about you?" I ask and she looks down. "No show yet. They said they'd be here though, so we shall see." She says and Mitch stands. "You can have my parents." He says and she giggles. "No thank you." She says and Mitch giggles too. "That's how you feel Mitchell?" Someone says and we ask turn to see his father. "Dad I was only joking. I'm warming up to you guys." He says and his father shakes his head.

"First you let you blonde barbie doll disrespect me, then you try and trade us. What kind of son are you?" He says and Mitch moves closer to him. "I was kidding! Her parents aren't here and I wanted to make her smile. Is that so wrong? And you will not disrespect my alpha. No in his house." He says and his father moves closer. "Don't you dare talk to your father like that!" He shouts and Mitch scoffs.

"Some father you've been! You just started giving a damn about me!" Much shouts abs his father slaps him. "Ik only here because of your-" I cut him off by slamming him into the wall. "Don't you ever! And I mean EVER put your hands on my omega." I growl and Mitch's mother comes down. "Damnit Mike what have you done?!" She asks running to Mitch.

"Baby are you okay?" She asks but Mitch doesn't say anything. "I want you out my house! Your wife can stay, but you are no longer welcome here." I say before throwing him out my sight. I walk over to Mitch, who is surrounded by the entire pack, and lift him off the ground. I carry him to the couch and sit him on my lap. "Hi baby." I whisper and he whimpers in response. "Oh honey I'm sorry. I know you wanted things to turn around, and I know you wanted him to walk you down the isle, but everything will be fine. I promise. You got one patent out of this, and that's better then none." I whisper in his ear and he nods.

He turns to face me and buries his face in my neck. At this point all the families are in the living room asking about what happened. The only negative response I heard was from Kristin's uncle. "He deserved it. That mouth of his got him in trouble." He says and Mitch growls softly. "Avi get him out my house." I growl and he grabs both the uncle and Mitch's father before escorting them to get their things, and then out the house.

"Do you treat all the omegas with the same respect?" Kevin's mom asks and I nod. "It's my job ma'am. As part of the council I care for the omegas, their safety is my number 1 priority as an alpha." I say and she smiles. "Why are you so protective over that one?" She asks and I smile. "We'll be getting married soon." I say and her face, along with Todrick's mother lights up. "Aww that's amazing! I want to see pictures!" She says and Mitch giggles.

I look at him, and he seems fine. "Are you okay now baby?" I ask and he moves his face close to my neck. "I just wanna stay close to you today." He says and I kiss his cheek. "That's fine baby. Would you like to make breakfast with me?" I ask and be smiles. "Yes please." He says and we stand. "We're going to make breakfast." I say and his mom smiles.

We make our way to the kitchen and Mitch pulls out the different foods and seasonings. "Baby?" I question, but he doesn't stop. "Mitch." I try, but he keeps pulling things out the fridge. I grab him and wrap him in my arms. "Talk to me. I needed to get you away from everyone." I say and his body goes limp in my arms. He starts to sniffle softly. "He- he- he. Alpha he..." He says and I hold him a little tighter.

"I know baby I know. I'm so sorry." I say kissing the back of his neck. He turns around in my arms and buries his face in my neck. "God I'm so sorry. I should have seen it coming. The way he was moving toward you." I say and he just shakes his head. "You couldn't have done anything. You made him leave. That's all I needed." He says and I pull him into a kiss.

"God I love you." I say and he smiles. "And I you alpha." He says and I kiss him again.
