It was a usually busy morning in the ED, Connie had stopped to get her usual coffee before she got too work. God forbid she got her coffee from the staff room, bland, instant, disgusting coffee; no wonder the rest of her staff like it.
Only by looking at Jacob Connies mood had turned from bad to worse, she despised him. Incompetent, nosey, unprofessional and not to mention down right annoying, these were only a few words Connie could use too describe him.
On the other hand, when Jacob started working at Holby he would have said, gorgeous, smart, savvy.
But now all Jacob could think of her as was rude, she wouldn't listen to anyone but herself, she was so egotistical, not to mention bossy.
Jacob was a big believer of second chances but, after 4 long months at the ED Jacob was done even trying to impress or get to know her, she would have none of it.

As Connie passed him through the doors she gave him her famous 'death stare' for the first few months of him working there he would continually flirt with her, walk in with her, invite himself into her office, but now he hated her. Connie couldn't quite understand why, but it was just one less person to worry about getting close too; she would never admit that she missed his flirty banter with her, not even to herself.
As the ED began to quiet down Connie began walking towards her office only to see the two people she hates the most in, what seemed to be deep conversation. Jacob and Hansen, what on earth could they be talking about? What ever it was looked serious; Connie strolled right passing them in an attempt that they would ignore her
'Mrs Beauchamp, I will be needing to speak to you... your office in shall we say 5 minutes?'
The biggest fake smile spread across Connies face, 'if you must' was her reply followed by an eye roll, after seeing the look Connie gave once Hansen turned around Jacob couldn't help but smirk.
'Something funny Mr Masters? Because if I were you I would be taking this very seriously'
'No boss, and you got it.'
Jacob proceeded to give Hansen the matching look as Connie as he turned around but before he could he heard the words
'Mrs Beauchamp will be informed, I can't say I will have as good as a response.'
Jacob then rolled his eyes knowing Hansen was too have no luck with Connie, especially with what he was about to tell her.
