As Connie and Jacob approached the steps toward the hotel lodge they were booked to stay at they both turned to take in the beautiful scenery of the sea opposite.
'You never know Mrs B this could be the beginning of a beautiful friendship.'
Connie rolled her eyes as she followed him inside, her breath subsided slightly as she saw the breathtaking oak stair case trailing from the front reception up to a hall way, the ceilings were tall making the room feel even bigger. Connie and Jacob were greeted my an older woman who didn't look so happy to still be working at 11 o'clock at night. She should try being a life saving surgeon Connie thought to herself.
'Hello, we have a reservation booked under the names Beauchamp and Masters.'
'Yep, first door to the right.'
The woman said handing Connie the key,
'I'm sorry there must be a mistake we have two rooms?'
'No you don't, I have it here one room, twin beds.'
'You must have another room!'
'No I'm afraid not, we're fully booked, now I'm going to have to ask you to either go upstairs or outside as you will disrupt our other guests.'
'Oh this is unbelievable, of course Hansen would dodge any cost at all by getting us one room what an absolute...'
'Con, come on let's go upstairs and have a look at the room it may not be as bad as you think.'
Jacob said, interrupting her knowing she could have started shouting at any moment.

Jacob unlocked the door to the room they would both be staying in for the next few days..
'See it's not that bad.'
He said as they both looked over the room, fairly simple with two double beds a t.v in the middle and an en suite with a shower.
'Yeah it's okay, but do you know what would be better?'
Connie began to walk toward Jacob with a sultry tone...
'What?'
Jacob said with a weak tone,
'Two rooms. One for me, one for you.'
Connie's voice snapped back into her professional sarcastic mode as Jacob rolled his eyes.

Connie was unpacking her bag when Jacob walked in wearing nothing but a towel hanging loosely around his waist.
'Right Jacob, if we're sharing this room appropriate clothing is needed.'
Connie couldn't deny that she liked the sight before her but she had to have some professionalism about her.
'Right sorry bout that Mrs B, I just want you to know that that rule doesn't have to apply to you'
Jacob said throwing her a cheeky wink. Connie felt herself go an instant shade of red,
'oh get over yourself Jacob'
she said walking into the bathroom to try to get away from the situation.

'Connie your phones ringing! It's someone called Grace.'
Connie rushed out of the bathroom answering the FaceTime call,
'Hello baby!'
'Mum... where are you?'
Grace asked her mum with a confused look on her face,
'I'm on a course baby, so I'm staying in a hotel.'
'Oh right, mum guess... Who's that?!'
Connie turned to see Jacob standing behind here again only wearing a towel,
'oh that's Jacob he's going now to put some clothing on!'
Connie said giving him a warning glare.
'Is he your boyfriend mum?'
Jacob scoffed hearing what Grace had just said,
'No he certainly is not!'
Connie sent Jacob a warning look,
'stay there sweetie I'm just popping to the bathroom.'
As Connie was putting up her hair she heard her daughters laughter, Connie stood in the doorway and listened in on Graces and Jacobs conversation..
'So your Jacob then? My mum doesn't like you that much by the way she speaks of you,'
'oh does she not, well firecracker I think that could change.'
Jacob said winking at Grace causing her to giggle,
'Jacob do you like my mum? I mean like like her? Because she says that you both hate each other but that isn't the feeling I'm getting.'
'I don't hate her like everyone thinks I do, your mum is a very interesting woman Grace, not to mention very beautiful!'
'Oh yes I know, well Jacob can you tell mum my iPad is about to die so I'll speak to her soon!'
'of course I will firecracker, see you later!'
'Wait Jacob, one thing can you try to make my mum happy, she deserves happiness. I know my mum and I don't think she hates you as much as you think.'
Grace hung up the FaceTime call, and Connie came out from the doorway,
'oh Con, she said goodbye something about the iPad dying.'
'Yes I know I heard,'
'oh how much did you hear exactly?'
Connie chose to ignore the question,
'Goodnight Jacob, we have the first session of our course tomorrow, I thought we could grab some breakfast, but you will have to be up some what early..'
Connie walked over to her bed turning of her lamp,
'Oh and Jacob I don't hate you'
'Good to know, night sweet cheeks'
'Night... muscles.'
