After their drive back to Holby Jacob had stopped in at his house dropping off his belongings and picking up some essentials before driving with Connie back to hers.
'So what have you got in them?'
'You what?'
'For dinner, what am I making us?'
'Oh right, Jacob I'm not going to lie but we're lucky if there's even any water in the taps, I just tend to eat out.'
Jacob let out a small laugh toward her.
'No, no Con, your letting me stay some I'm gonna cook us a nice dinner, give me ten minutes to nip in the super market and then we'll go.'
'Jacob there's really no need.'
'Too late I'm half way there now.'
Connie laughed at his over exaggeration, she couldn't remember the last time she had a home cooked dinner let alone the last time someone else cooked it for her.
After 20 minutes Jacob had been in the supermarket and they were both back at Connie's.
'Right you go up get yourself comfy and unpack, I'll shout when it's ready.'
Connie couldn't believe it, she could get used to this, she felt like even after three days her and Jacob were like a little family.
She could get used to this having someone cooking for her, caring for her and not being her house alone everyday, but her main worry was, did Jacob want the same? not that she would ever admit it to him.
'Con? you ready?'
Connie had decided to change into her pyjama short and Jacobs jumper which had been left in her bag from their trip.
'Whatever you've cooked smells delicious!'
'I hope your saying that after you've tried it... oh wearing my clothes now are we sweet cheeks? I'm sure you've got some massive closet upstairs,'
Jacob said as he turned around seeing Connie in his jumper.
'Oh I hope you don't mind?'
'No, it's really quiet cute actually,'
he said wrapping his arms around her waist placing a kiss to her head.
'Right now it's only a bit of spaghetti so nothing to exciting..'
'No don't be silly it's gorgeous, you can cook more often.'
'Happily.'
Jacob said winking at Connie causing her to instantly blush.
After dinner the two headed upstairs to Connie's room to watch some t.v and get ready for bed, as Connie came out of her bathroom she saw Jacob lying in her bed with only her sheets covering him.
'Oh like what you see sweet cheeks?'
Jacob said laughing at her as he watched her eyes elevate over his body.
'hmm yeah just a little,'
Connie said as she walked toward him placing a long passionate kiss on his lips, crawling into bed next to him.

5.30am.
Connie's alarm, had gone off causing her to instantly wake up for work, she tried to get up as she realised had Jacobs bare arm draped across her stomach.
'Jacob, babe, you need to get up. We've got work.'
'Yeah 5 more minutes'
he said pulling Connie back into his side.

Connie and Jacob had both gotten out of bed with much annoyance and teasing on Jacobs behalf.
Connie had opted to wear a tight black fitting skirt, a white barely see through shirt tucked in, her hair hanging loosely in a bun and her signature louboitins.
'See sweet cheeks, wearing stuff like that to work just to tease me..'
'Oh I do apologise, would you rather me wear a onesie? you've coped for four months without ripping my clothes off I'm sure you can cope now.'
'Well no, because I know what you got going on underneath.'
Connie gasped and threw a pillow toward him.
'Come on, or we will be late.'
Connie and Jacob drove to the hospital in comfortable silence with Jacobs hand on Connie's thigh as she drove.
'Right so remember no flirting, no touching, no kissing, no..'
'Let me guess no breathing? come one sweet cheeks your just being paranoid, but I'm not going to pretend I hate you.'
'Promise me you won't tell anyone? I just don't want people finding out yet.'
'Con I promise.'
Connie and Jacob had reached the department and both gone their separate ways, Jacob into the staff room to be greeted by his friends and Connie to her office to be greeted by loads of paperwork.
She was definitely not coming out of her office today, but before she could even sit down her phone went of.
Jacob: Hey sweet cheeks, missing you already you said no flirting but I'm guessing I can still message you and not break the rule😜 Lunch? xxx
Connie: Do you not have patients? and I'm sorry but I don't think j can do lunch really busy x
Jacob: Oh right no worries xxx
Connie: P.S I miss you too💗 xx

After three hours of Connie filing paper work she had gone undistracted until...
'Hiya sweet cheeks, you said you couldn't make it to lunch but you haven't eaten all day, so I bought lunch too you.'
Jacob said entering her office closing the door behind him as he sat on the sofa pulling out, two sandwiches, crisps, chocolate and coffee. Connie walked over to him sitting next to him on her sofa as she took off her heels draping her legs across his lap.
'Thank you so much, I haven't left this office all morning, I'm glad to have atleast some company, even if it has to be yours.'
Connie said winking at him,
'Ohh charming thanks a bunch, Jacob said playing along with her joke pretending to get up off the sofa.
'Hey no, I'm just going along with the whole hating each other thing'
Connie said as she pulled Jacob back down onto the sofa kissing him.
'But seriously thank you, I was starving.'
'Well sweet cheeks what would you do without me?'
'Oh muscles I have no clue!'
'Mrs Beauchamp we have an RTC on route.. oh sorry I do apologise I didn't mean to interrupt!'
Rita said as she looked further into the office noticing Connie sitting with Jacob, luckily she had managed to move her legs off him.
'Sister Freeman your not interrupting anything we are merely just talking about the course from the past few days. Can you look for Dr Hanna as I have a lot of paper work to get through.'
'Yes I'm sure I can Mrs Beauchamp, Staff Nurse Masters your assistance will be required though.'
'You will have to find Staff Nurse Hyde, me and Jac.. Staff Nurse Masters have somethings to go through, from the course.'
'Right okay then.'
Rita began to exit the office as she noticed Connie's shoes off on the floor and the lunch set up for her and Jacob.
'Zoe we're going to need your help RTC 4 minutes! also your never going to guess who I've just seen all comfortable together'
'Yeah I was heading out anyway, and who?'
'Connie and Jacob, they're both in her office on the sofa looking very comfortable if you ask me?'
'Rita really? they hate each other.'
'Well you never know they had that course together...'
Connie watched from her blinds,
'Jacob she is obviously talking about us..'
'Sweet cheeks would you calm down.'
He said as he wrapped his arms around her waist,
'Look come on have something to eat and then I'll go out and bad mouth you or something if you really want?'
Connie giggled into his chest as she turned to face him,
'I just want to keep it a secret a little while longer.'
