'So Jacob you and Mrs Beauchamp have been acting very friendly since your little course, anything going on?'
Ian said teasing Jacob in the staff room,
'Yeah, I noticed that, Jacob I thought you hated that ice queen, have you gone to the dark side?'
Jez said nudging Jacob. Lofty and Max sitting opposite laughing.
'Come on guys really.. she would be so lucky.'
Jacob said plainly lying through his teeth, but having to say anything to throw them off.
'She was just as much of a butch down in Dorset than she is here everyday, I wouldn't go there even if you paid me.'
Jacob said as he left the staff room leaving the rest behind speechless.
'Now I've got a tenner that he goes back in the office just to get on her.'
Max waded in,
'Make that fifteen that he doesn't come out tonight as he's "busy", Lofty, Jez you in?'
'Yeah go for it.'
Lofty said conforming their bets.
'Don't worry sweet cheeks no one knows, I've just bad mouthed you like there's no tomorrow.'
Jacob said as he went into Connie's office, holding by the waist.
'I think this would be the only time I can say thank you? I think?'
'Knew it, that's a tenner you owe me.'
Max said to Lofty as the walked past Connie's office, not having too see anything to know what was going on.
