A whole new world

Leo POV

EEEEEEK! I can't believe this is happening! we can FINALLY start our journey back to my home! oh I know its just the beginning but I just know we'll get there eventually! I can see the looks on there faces as the gleam with happiness to see me again! I'll probably start crying with happiness tears!

No time to waste we're leaving tonight! I should start writing up a plan! I'm going to need several pieces of paper to draw a map to take record of the trip! we'll need food! who know's how far we'll go before having to head back so we should stock up on supplies, I wonder if Maria has any weapons maybe Jake's baseball bat will come in handy but it certainly won't last long. Maria left the room to have dinner which gave me plenty of time to do all this.

I told her to bring up some food, we probably won't need nearly as much as we will later on when we try again, I highly doubt we'll get there first try!

Maria came back upstairs in her pj's oh and before you ask NO I do NOT watch her change! that's creepy and disrespectful even I wouldn't stoop to that level! however I DID tell her to get changed into something that covers up more

"what?! what do you mean by that?!" she yelled

"I just think that the clothing your wearing now is a bit revealing for a journey back home, you don't even know how far it is you're really planning to go the whole way wearing that?"

"Fine I'll wear something else but you don't control the amount of how much I show off!" she kneeled down to my level...harsh

I looked away and she got changed into some black sneakers, candy cane stockings, black gloves, jean shorts, a pale yellow top and a her violet jacket but this time she zipped it up and put her hair in a high ponytail...she can be cute when she wants to be

"ok now what, I got the stuff you needed" she picked them up one by one "food, sam baseball bat, sleeping bag, pillow, some sticks, a lighter and for whatever reason some halloween horns...honestly what are you planning for this?"

"what am I planning? A JOURNEY!!!" I strike a pose in awesomeness

"uhuh, look I'd like to acknowledge the irony here? your making me leave my home in order to find your home! how is that fair!"

I looked at the clock, it was now 9:45pm 

"say...Maria, you recon Jake has gone to bed? there's no chance he'll check on you right?"

"y-yeah, why do you ask? don't avoid my question!"

"I'm not, I assure you, if you get really homesick we'll come right back here!" I smiled trying to comfort her

"that makes no sense we'll just keep going in circles, I'll keep wanting to come home"

"ugh you don't get it do you" she's starting to annoy me

"am I supposed to?"

"well you're about to so hold on" I grinned as I pulled out my scythe, I wasn't going to hurt her but her fearful expression said otherwise, I swung down the scythe and slammed it into the ground and the portal started opening beneath us

"hope Jake and Sam can't hear us"

"WHAT THE-" the floor collapsed beneath us and we plummeted down into the abyss, she screamed the whole way down god what a wimp, its just a dark void no big deal.

Maria's POV

I'M GOING TO DIE THIS IS THE END I SHOULD HAVE NEVER TRUSTED THIS CREATURE ITS GOING TO KILL ME I DON'T WANT TO DIE PLEASE GOD SOMEONE SAVE MEEEE!!!

Before I knew it I felt my body tangle into tree vines almost as if they had wrapped around me on there own...coarse it didn't matter since it only made me freak out even more, eventually the vines swung me down and the floor became more visible...but I was still falling...SWEET LOVE OF ERIC SAVE MEEEEEEEE!!!

The vines tangled around my feet stopped in the air and flung me up like a bungee rope before finally stopping, my head was a few centimetres away from the ground so I took this moment to catch my breath in fear

I breathed for a bit then I saw Leo float down in front of me

"GAH LEO WHAT THE HELL! I COULD HAVE BEEN KILLED!!!" I almost wanted to punch him but I was all tangled so I just struggled and the vines let me go so I fell face first on the ground

"calm down...the nature of this world wouldn't have allowed you to die, your my only ticket back home I can't kill you!"

"So?! YOU COULD HAVE TOLD ME!!!" I stood up brushing off the dirt than looking at my surroundings in shock

It was breathtaking...we landed in a grass patch on what looked to be a mountain side? the grass was so fresh, all the trees were separated on the side with a redwood trunk and beautiful pink cherry blossom leaves, there was a clear blue river coming straight from a massive waterfall up ahead...I couldn't believe my eyes...I looked to Leo...

"...where the hell are we" 

"heheh...this...is my home..." he gave me a warm smile

I looked around, my eyes wide open as a gawked at the scenery...this...is were Leo lives?

"i-its so...beautiful" I said adjusting my glasses "am I dreaming?"

Leo pinched me 

"OW! hey!"

"heheh your not dreaming... I can open up that portal any time, when we come back here we'll come to the last place we were in this realm, think of it kinda like a checkpoint in a game, if you ever leave you can come back to the same place you left off from" he grinned

"this world is so big! do you have any idea on how to get home from here?!" 

"That's what the papers for, we'll draw a map as we go along plus we can always ask whoever we find for help...still up for helping me?" he gave me a worried smile

"...yeah...lets do this..." I gave him my game face

"great, NOW LETS ADVENTURE AHAHAHA!!!"
