Maria POV

OH GOD WHAT DO I DO?! I WANT TO TELL HIM BUT ELIZA WILL KILL ME AND HE WONT BELIEVE AND HE'LL HATE ME AND I DON'T WANT TO STRUGGLE CAUSE THIS IS THE CLOSEST I'VE EVER BEEN TO HOLDING HIS HANDS! I...I...I!!!

"HEY MARIA!" I turned around in confusion 

"Jake?" was all I said, Eric loosened his grip and I swat my hands away

"So this is where you were I've been looking for you for the past 15 minutes why weren't you at the front gate like I asked you to?"

why?...it was because Eliza was there...

"oh s-sorry I forgot I guess..." I really don't want to get Jake involved...or at least not until we're home. Jake looked next to me and saw Eric, he winked at me thinking I must have got somewhere, boy just you wait

"heheh, anyway lets get go- Maria do you have a bruise?" Jake said turning the side of my head to face him

"y-yeah but" great him too

"I'll put some stuff on it when we get home...you feeling ok? you seem really off" Jake said tilting his head sideways

"I-I'm...fine...I'll talk about it later..." I say looking down at my feet twirling my fingers out of nervousness. There was an unsettling silence for a solid 2 minutes until Jake broke it with a look of aww

"NAWW YOU CAN BE SO CUTE SOMETIMES I SWEAR HAHAHA" Jake said pulling me close and hugging me tightly

"wha- Jake! Let me go I'm not a kid!!!" I say trying to push him away

"you may not be a kid but you still have your childhood adorableness and that will never change no matter your age!" Jake said hugging me tighter the more I pushed him away

"I said let me go! grrr!" Jake put my arms down and swung his arms around me again, it felt like I was being tied up with a rope, he picked me up off the ground and I looked around in shock as to why he was doing this

"what the JAKE PUT ME DOWN!!!" I say struggling

"Nope! this if for making me look for you now I'm carrying you back to the car!" he said with an ear to ear smile, I looked at Eric, who seemed a little confused but his mouth curved up slightly, he followed us to the car

And sure enough Jake carried me all the way to the car and threw me in the back where Sam was

"teehee hiya sis!" Jake said reaching out to hug me then getting mad that his seatbelt was preventing him from reaching me

"The tree next to the playground of Sam's school fell down on it, they have to close it down for about 2 days for repairs" Jake said turning to me. I saw Eric flinch but I ignored it

"Oh god was anyone hurt?" I said worried

"No, although no one really know's how the tree fell down...weird huh" Jake said starting the car

"W-well it was nice to see you again M-maria but your going and I uh...gotta go!" Eric said running off...what was that about...it was kinda cute~

On the way home we bought take out so when we got to the house I brought it upstairs to Leo. When I went into my room I saw Leo lying across my desk not moving.

"L-leo?!" I shut the door and walk over to him and gently shake him.

"L-leo? hey, come on this isn't funny...w-wake up" I kept shaking him but he wouldn't move

"I said wake up!" I started to yell

"WAKE UP DAMIT!!!" I yell slamming my fist on the desk

"ALRIGHT FIIIIIINE GOD WHAT IS YOUR PROBLEM IM TIRED!!!" He yelled rolling over

In shock I wiped away the tears that were starting to form. I take a deep breath in relief as Leo just gives me a confusing stare as if I should say something

"what?"

"well what is it? why did you wake me up in such a rush, did something happen?"

"wha-? NO! you idiot I thought you were dead!" 

"I was asleep, theres a difference...huh?" Leo flew up to the side of my head

"whoa did you get into a fight or something? thats one nasty bruise you got!" He said about to poke it

"crap! I keep forgetting to hide it!" I say putting my hair over it to cover it up. Leo flew back down on the edge of the desk and crossed his leg over the other 

"Ok, spill the beans I want to know what happened, you're not the type to get in a fight so this is gonna be interesting" He smirked stroking his chin

"...well...I guess theres no harm in telling you since you don't know her...but..." I explained to Leo who Eliza was, her relationship with Eric, and what she did to give me this bruise.

"wow...she sounds like a total bitch" Leo said. I stood there for a second processing what he just said

"...y-yeah I guess she is" I frown

"Oh well I wish I could help but we got places to be! so lets get this portal open!" Leo said swinging his scythe in the air and throwing it down to open the portal yet again

"really? already?" I said getting ready for the big drop again...which no I'm still not used to in the slightest, in fact I'm god dam terrified 

"Sorry Maria but this is the drill from now on! You can explain your absence to your brothers later" Leo smirked as the portal proceeded to crack open

"wait, my brothers? WAIT WHAT DO I TELL THEM WHEN THEY COME TO FIND ME-AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHH" before I could finish my sentence the floor once again cracked fully open from under me and I plummeted down with my screams echoing the walls around us

"LEO I'M GOING TO MURDER YOOOOOOUUUUUUU" I screamed at his little devious smirking face!
