I anxiously waited either one of my parents to come home so I could ask them about Alexander staying here and to be honest even they'd say no I'd still do the opposite and keep Alex here.

"So this prom you told me about it's tomorrow?" Alexander asked as we were sitting on the couch waiting.

"Yeah and now that you are here, I have a date." I leaned against Alex and rapped my arm around him. Feeling him kissing the top of my head felt so good in a long time. Oh man I had missed him and his touch. I'm not gonna let him go ever again.

"But there's only one issue..." Alex started, "I don't have anything to wear."

An evil grin spread on my lips and I lifted my head so I could face Alexander. He looked at me confused and maybe slightly scared.

"What are you thinking?" He questioned.

"Get in loser, we're going shopping." I said quoting mean girls.

We drove down to the mall and walked into the store that sold the fanciest suits in town.

"Jamie, I can't afford this kind of suits." Alexander blurred out as he brushed his hand thru his hair.

I rested my hand on his shoulder and smiled, "don't worry I've got it covered."

He looked at me with a questioning look. I just shrugged my shoulders and dragged him deeper into the store.

"Can I help you two gentleman?" The man, who I assumed was the shop assistant.

"Yes! We well he needs a suit for the prom." I pointed out. The shop assistant nodded and led us to the back of the shop, where the fitting area was. There was a couch and a lot of suits surrounding it all.

Alex disappeared with the man for a while and came back with a ton of suits. This might take a while

Soon enough Alex stepped out of the fitting room with a nice suit on. My eyes scanned him from head to toe.

"Well?" He wondered.

"Mmhh it's good but enough good?" Maybe not.

Alex shook his head and walked back into the fitting room.

It took about five suits till the lucky seventh came around and wowd me.

"Good enough yet?"

My eyes traveled him from head to toe over and over again. Every inch of him looked perfect, the suit was just tight on the right spots, so very perfect

"You okay babe?"

I shook myself back to reality and blurred out, "Yeah yeah. I'm perfectly fine but damn so are you. That suit looks just perfect on you. That one it is!"

"Good choice." The shop assistant said.

I waited Alex to change back to his own clothes so we could go buy this suit.

That would be $2.500

Alex's eyes opened as wide as they could as he stared at me. "Are you crazy Jamie?!" He blunted out in shock. I just laughed and handed the man my credit card.

"Thank you very much and good luck to the prom boys." The shop assistant said to us as we were leaving.

"And the answer to your question, yes I'm crazy but I also want the best for you and it's kinda like a thank you for being you aka the best boyfriend in the entire world."

"Okay okay, I'll give that to you but no more expensive things. And I'm paying for the Starbuck." Alexander said as I smiled to him as a response.

"Excited for your first American prom?"

"Well I guess. But what I'm most excited about is the fact that I get to spend it with you." I smiled at him before giving him a small peck on the lips.

After a nice short day at the mall we drove back home where my parents were already. I walked in thru the doors to the kitchen where my mom was cooking dinner.

"Hey sweety. How was you-" She started but was cut off my seeing Alex. She gave us a questioning smile.

"Mom, you remember my boyfriend Alexander, right? I mean obviously you do but yeah. He kinda needs a place to stay cause he's an exchange student in our school and I was thinking he could stay here. Is that okay?" I explained.

"Why of course it's fine and I'm sure your father wouldnt mind either. You can go ask him, he's in his office." She said. "And welcome to the family Alexander. She continued as she walked over to give Alex a hug."

"Thank you." He responded.

I took Alexs hand and dragged him with me to my dads office. I knocked on the door and waited for an answer but there was none. I let go of Alexs hand and open the door slowly. "Dad?" I asked softly.

I didnt see a sign of him. I walked in with Alexander right behind me. I looked around and went closer to his desk. I looked closer and what I saw was a hand on the floor. I walked around the table to see my dad lying on the floor unconscious.

"Oh my god dad!" I shouted as I kneeled down on the ground. "Dad please wake up! DAD PLEASE?!" I shouted in desperation tears in my eyes.

Alexander had gone to get my mom whom then had called an ambulance.

"Alex can you please get Jamie put of this room till the paramedics come." I heard my mom said to Alex.

"No please don't". I shouted tears streaming down my face as Alex dragged me away from my dad's unconscious body. The rest of that night was a blur. All I can remember was us driving to the hospital and me bawling my eyes out in Alex's lap.
