If anyone has gotten through this whole story to this point where you are reading this. THANK YOU! I know this story isn't the best thing out there but it is my first story I've written and finished so. But I promise there's gonna be a lot more stories somewhere in the future and a lot better than this.

Anyway back to the story... enjoy and I'm sorry.

*5 years later*

"I'm going now, see you tonight." Alexander placed a kiss on my cheek before heading off to work.

I moved to Germany with Alexander once I had graduated college. I was 22 now and living with Alex in our first own home. We also had gotten a cat, his name was Henry. It's a pretty odd name for a cat but it made it ten times even better.

Alex and I were flying back to America in a few days for Isaac and Kira's wedding. They were attached to each other ever since our prom night 5 years ago. And for Isaac, well... he was supposed to become the CEO of his dad company but since he came out to his family, his dad sold it leaving Isaac without a penny. It didnt seem to bother him though. He was probably right now partying up somewhere across the world with Ulrich. It might sound weird but the two were very much alike and made a quite the pair.

And for my mom, well shes now newlywed to our old neighbor Jim. They got married last summer in New York. She's happy and that's all that matters. I'm excited to see her again in a few days. I had so much catching up to do, even we spoke on the phone daily.

Getting over my father's death was the hardest thing ever, but with the support of my mom, friends and Alex I managed to move on eventually.

Anyway back to present day, I had planned a date with Alex for tonight. He was thinking it was just a normal date night, but in reality I was going to propose him tonight. Not going to lie when I say I was feeling pretty nervous, even I was sure it was going to go just perfectly.

When I had told Kira about it a week ago, she ended up screaming in the phone for 30 minutes, out of happiness of course.

I could hardly wait for tonight.

It was now 8.26pm and I was sat at our reserved table in our favorite restaurant. I was starting to get worried about Alex as he was nearly 30 minutes late. I tried calling him multiple times but with no reply. I even called his office to see if he still was there but they said he had left already ages ago.

I waited and waited...

Now it was nearly 9pm and he still hadn't shown up. I was in full panic mode about to leave to check the nearest hospitals when Alexander finally walked through the restaurant doors.

I then jump into his arms hugging the life out of him. Alex looked at me in confusion.

"I thought something bad had already happened to you when you didnt show up?" I panicked.

"Why? I thought you said we were meeting here at 9pm, and it's now 8.58pm, so I'm just on time." Alexander explained. I stared at him back with my eyes as wide as they could go.

"Oh my god, I did? Didn't I? Wow I'm a dumbass. Here I was about to have a heart attack thinking something awful had happened to you but no, I'm just an idiot. I sighed out of relief. Alexander just laughed and kissed my cheek as he sat down by the table.

Halfway through our dinner I thought it'd be a perfect time to pop the question. I tried subtly digging the ring box out of my pocket so Alex wouldn't notice but clearly I wasn't doing too good job as he was looking at me with his eyebrow raised and a look that told it all.

I stuck my tongue out to him before putting on my serious face.

"Alexander..." I began.

"We have known each other for a long time now and I think it's time for us to take the next step... I love you so so so much and you mean the world to me. I don't know what I'd do without you honestly. You are a real blessing." I said tears forming in my eyes. I opened the box and handed it closer to Alexander who was also in the verge of tears.

"Will you marry me?"

Alexander didn't say a word, he just nodded and got up from his seat to kiss me. I felt nothing but love and happiness in that moment. Nothing in this world could ruin this moment.

Yet I was so wrong.

In the corner of my eye I could see two gun men enter the restaurant and I pulled Alexander down with me to get cover under the table.

"On the floor now!" The men in full black shouted waving their guns around shooting bullets.

The happy tears had turned into tears of horror.

"Were going be alright..." I tried stuttering. I looked over to Alexander who was staring at me tears in his eyes.

"Jamie... I... I love you never forget that, please." Alex sighed quietly. I looked at him in wonder.

"Alex stop talking like that. I love you. Were gonna make it out of here." I whispered to rubbing his cheek lightly. Alex looked down over his body, he was holding on to his side with his palm tightly. In that moment I realized that it wasnt going to be alright and that Alexander had got hit by one of the bullets.

"Oh my god! No, no, no, no, nonono- this isn't happening. Alexander no. Please no!" I begged horror and panic taking over my entire body. I hold Alexander closer to and sobbed. This wasn't reality, this couldn't be. I couldn't be watching another one of my loved ones fade away. Even how much I wished that this was all just a nightmare and I hadnt woken up yet, but in the back of my mind I knew. I knew both of us weren't going to make it.

"I love you Alexander, so fucking much. I'll see you soon baby." I sobbed yet feeling completely numb on the inside.

The last thing I could remember was watching over at Alexander and his lifeless body lay next to me as I faded into the darkness.

I guess all tales don't have a happy ending after all...
