I had few more drinks after dancing with Scotty. I was starting to loosen up a bit and still no clue where Isaac and Kira were. Best friends dumping me on my birthday and the party they rearranged, such great friends, am I right?
“You are still being a buzzkill.” Scotty said to me.
“MOVE DAMMIT!!” I heard Kira yell from the door way. Behind her was Isaac pushing a big package. Do I even want to know what’s going on?
Kira hugged me and wished me happy birthday. I asked where they had been but they wouldn’t tell me. Maybe it had something to do with that huge package.
“Okay Jamie, it’s present time. Open this one the last.” Kira said pointing at the package they brought.
After all the basic presents from shirts to slightly more perverted ones, I got to the huge one. I was kind of terrified what was in it. I swear to god if it was a giant clown I was gonna murder them all.
The box was made easy to open. I could hear music thru the box. It wasn’t in English for sure. I peeked in but couldn’t properly see because it was so dark. I opened it more and saw the one thing I wanted the most, my boyfriend Alexander.
I didn’t hesitate before jumping in to his arms. I could hear the aww’s surrounding us.
“I missed you so so so much.” I whispered to him.
“Me too, liebling. Happy birthday Jamie.”
I felt so happy I could almost cry. The one thing I wished the most was given to me, or more like delivered to me. If there weren’t people here who knows what I had done.
I finally let go of him and looked around us. Everyone at the party was staring at us, every single one.
“Awwh that was sooo cute!” Kira said and gave us a hug. “Okay you all can go back to doing what you were doing, these two need alone time!” She continued. We both laughed.
The music was blasting loudly again with people dancing around and having fun.
Scotty, Isaac and Kira were all standing in front of us.
“How did you make this happen?” I asked still in shock.
Alex wrapped his arm around me and started talking, “Well we had a little plan to surprise you.”
“Thanks guys. Seriously, this is the best birthday present ever.” I smiled slight tears forming in my eyes again. Alex asked me to dance with him and obviously I couldn’t say no.
Ironically Overdose by The Used started playing. We both wrapped our arms around each other and were as close as we could. This was one of those moments I’ll remember forever.
“These weeks have been torture without you. You have been all over my mind.” Alexander whispered.
“I know but now you’re here and that’s all that matters right now.” I said giving him a kiss.
The song ended and we broke apart.
“You want a drink?” I asked Alexander. He nodded in response. I walked towards the kitchen leaving Alex in the other room. As I was pouring drinks to us when someone walked behind me and lowered their head on my shoulder. First I thought it was Alex but I turned around to see Scotty.
“He is pretty cute.” He smirked.
“Scotty back off. He’s mine go find someone else to fuck.” Scotty laughed as he put his arm around my neck.
“Protective much? Nah don’t worry Jamie-boy, I have someone else in my radar.” He winked before walking off. That boy is very weird. Why are we friends again?
