“He is handsome. Great catch”, my mom said.
I rolled my eyes. I got out the backdoor and saw him in his car. He looked amazing in a tux. I got in.
“Hey”, he said his eyes roaming over my body.
“Hi”, I said checking him out too.
“You look breath taking”, he said gulping.
“You look good”, I said.
More like sexy.
“Where are we going?” I asked.
“It’s a surprise”, he said smiling.
I hate and love surprises. I can already tell this is going to be a long date. During the car ride he couldn’t keep his eyes off of me. I was tempted to tell him my face was up here. He makes me feel uncomfortable sometimes. I think it’s because this is my first date and he is a player. He stopped the car and I looked to see where we were.
“Why are we at a museum?” I asked confused.
“We are going to a fancy party. I didn’t want to take you to a typical cliché date”, he said smiling at me.
“Whose party is it?” I said
“I don’t know. We’re just going to crash it and sneak in”, Jake said.
“This is crazy, Jake. We can’t do that”, I said worried.
“We can and we will. Loosen up. You’ll have the time of your life”, Jake said.
“Fine but if it doesn’t turn out well you’ll take all the blame”, I said.
“Of course”, he said.
He got out of the car and opened my door then helped me out.
“I never knew you were such a gentleman”, I said laughing.
“I can be a gentleman. I’m not completely a total jerk”, he said grinning.
We walked to the entrance and there were guards.
“Jake there are guards”, I said.
“I know. We’re going through a window”, Jake said taking my arm heading a different way.
My eyes literally popped out.
“What?!” I said.
“Shh. It’s not that high and it’ll be fun”, Jake said.
