After the group got back to the RV, they realized that it's too late to continue driving, so they make a stop to rest for the night.
"So, how about sense we're making a stop now, and we're all together, we talk about how the school year was?," asked Lonnie.
"Sounds good," said Carlos, turning his chair around to face them.
"I'll go first. I am thankful that I was not killed in tourney," Carlos said.
Jay smiled, and said "I'm thankful that I was awesome at tourney."
Carlos rolled his eyes. "You know, Carlos, if you don't enjoy tourney, you might enjoy band," said Doug.
"I mean, I love it. You still get to be at all the games in the stands," Doug continued.
"Why does everyone think I should be in band?!," Carlos said, that made some of his friends jump.
"If Carlos wants to play tourney, he can play tourney. Let's not judge anyone. He has potential," said Ben.
"Classic Ben. Always taking the high road," said Mal. Ben smiled.
"It's always the best way to go," Ben said.
"Yep. It's always in your GPS. Always. It's basically who you are," Mal said. The others nodded.
"You know, something I remember is that I got a B on my Chemistry exam. You know, the one after Mr. Tattle Tale had to get—," Evie started, only to get cut off by Doug.
"A new phone after telling his parents about how he lost his old one, because someone stole it," Doug said, giving her a look. Evie got the idea.
He didn't want the others to find out about that incident with her mirror.
She didn't blame him. She was just glad neither of them said too much of the truth.
But to be fair, he didn't say the truth at all. He lied right to all of them.
"What? That never happened," said Chad.
"Yes it did," said Evie. "You told me you had to ask your dad for a new phone because you couldn't find yours."
"Oh yeah," said Chad. "That was months ago. It was hard for me to remember." Chad knew why Doug finished Evie's sentence.
He knew he was covering for her, so she wouldn't mention the incident where Chad found her magic mirror, and told the teacher she had been using it to get the answers.
Chad felt guilty about that. But Evie ended up passing anyway, which was a good thing.
She could've been sent back to the Isle. Sure, he had wanted that before, but now he realized that the vks weren't so bad.
They were actually pretty cool. They had also saved Auradon from the villains taking over. "Okay. Let's think of some more memories. Like the one where I learned that I could do magic," said Jane.
"Oh no. Not that again," said Audrey.
"Why? Nothing happened, Audrey," Jane said. "Nothing happened? Nothing happened?! Hello?! Do you remember my hair?!," Audrey exclaimed.
Audrey thought back to the day when Jane tried a hair spell, and Audrey's hair ended up all wacky.
"Oh, yeah. I forgot. Sorry again about that. But your hair is fine now, that's a good thing," said Jane.
"Yeah, I guess so," said Audrey.
"Why don't you guys tell us some things about the Isle?," asked Doug.
"Oh, yeah. Sure," said Carlos.
"There was one night where we had a huge party at my house," he said.
"Yeah. And that was the same night and place where Mal trapped me in Cruella's fur coat closet," said Evie.
"Okay. Yes. We've established that. And I've apologized over a hundred times," said Mal. "Yeah. And we had a dance party while that was going on," said Jay.
"And Mal was busy with Anthony." Jay smirked.
Mal looked at him with wide eyes, giving him the 'Jay! Shut up' look.
"Who's Anthony?," Ben asked.
"No one important," Mal said immediately. "Literally no one important." Mal thought back to that party, when Anthony Tremaine wanted to dance with her.
"Oh. You mean Anthony Tremaine? My step cousin?," Chad asked.
"Yeah," said Evie. "I see the resemblance. You're both jerk faces."
"Actually he's not that bad Evie, once you get to know him," said Lonnie.
"Thanks Lonnie. And, Evie, how many times have I apologized?," said Chad.
"Look Chad, I forgive you, but it still won't change what you did," said Evie.
She sighed. "Just, promise you won't do anything like that again, okay?"
Chad sighed. "Ok, I promise," he said.
"Okay, now that we know who Anthony is, give me the details on what happened," said Ben. "Aw. Is Bennyboo jealous?," said Jay as he smirked.
"Yes! I mean, no. I mean, why?! What happened?!," said Ben.
"Oh, nothing really. Anthony just wanted to dance with me, that's all," said Mal.
"That's all?!," Ben asked.
"Don't worry. It's not like I wanted to dance with him. I don't even like him. At all. I like you," said Mal. Ben blushed.
"Aww," everyone else said. Ben smiled.
