Dad?

Mal's POV:
My friends and I were dancing along to the Cha-Cha Slide on the dance floor.
Then when the song ended, the Macarena came on and Chad screamed.
"NOOOOO!!! NOT AGAIN!!!," he exclaimed, and ran behind a table.
Audrey grabbed him and dragged him back onto the dance floor.
"You requested it, didn't you?," Chad asked, annoyed. Audrey just laughed evilly.
My friends and I laughed and continued to dance until the song was over.
When the song ended, we went inside to get some food and punch.
We all sat together at a table and started to munch down on food, as we hadn't really ate anything since yesterday.
"Mhmm...," moaned Carlos, as he stuffed a chocolate-covered marshmallow in his mouth. Jay did the same and had the same reaction. Evie was eating a blue cupcake but eating it with a fork to be proper.
Ben fed me a strawberry. I bit into the juiciness of my favorite fruit and moaned at how delicious it was.
"Good?," Ben asked, smiling. "So good," I said taking another bite out of it, and Ben put the tiny little part of it with the leaves that was left, on the plate.
I snuggled up next to Ben under his arm that was around me.
"You guys are so cute together!," Evie gushed. "Not as cute as you and Doug," I said, teasing her. Doug pulled Evie closer to him and they smiled. "Yeah, they're cute too, but I say we're a very cute couple," said Ben, smiling, and kissing my head.
I blushed. I looked away so he wouldn't see. "Are you blushing?," he asked teasingly. "Stoooop...," I said in a playful tone. He chuckled and gently turned my head with my chin so that I was facing him.
"Oh, yeah you're blushing, you're blushing," he teased.
"Stoooop...," I said again in the same tone as before, and playfully but gently slapped his chest.
He kissed me on the cheek. "I love you," he said, smiling.
"I love you too," I said, smiling, and we kissed. I nestled into his arm, and Evie and Doug were just staring at each other. Adorable.

Lonnie's POV:
I had danced with Jay earlier. I was so happy. I couldn't believe how much I liked him.
I was so happy that he felt the same way. I was so happy that he asked me to be his date tonight.
He had also asked me out earlier, when we were still at that castle, before we found Mal, and before the fire. I got butterflies in my stomach as soon as the words came out of his mouth.
I was really happy for Chad and Audrey as well. Chad and I just didn't work out.
We both had feelings for other people, people that we're really meant to be with.
I looked over at Carlos and Jane, who are so adorable together.
I've always shipped them together, even before they went to Cotillion together.
Evie and Doug, too. They fit together so well. Both smart, their parents know each other, though not exactly in a good way, but you get the idea. Who would've thought? Right? But I ship them so much. And Evie is the best clothes designer ever. I absolutely love how she designs and she tries to incorporate some of our colors, or some of what makes us, us, into her designs.
I looked over at Mal and Ben. Of course, they were the cutest ever. You can really tell how much they love each other. The way they both risked their lives for each other at the fire earlier. The way Ben never left her side until she woke up at the hospital. The way that they look at each other and say 'I love you' to each other. I love their relationship so much. I really can hardly wait to see what their wedding will be like. I am a total Bal fangirl along with Jane, of course Evie, and even Audrey, actually. I am so so happy for them.
I was snapped out of my thoughts when Jay put his arm around me. I got chills.
"So, about that date...," he started, smirking. "Yeah?," I asked, wanting him to continue. "How does Monday night sound?," he asked. I squealed on the inside.
"Yes, yes, uh, yeah. That-that sounds good," I said, rambling, not quite using my words well. But he didn't seem to mind, instead he just slightly chuckled.
"Then it's a date," he said. "Yeah, ha ha, we said it was," I said nervously, but happy. What were we now? Are we a thing now? I wondered to myself.
"Sooooo...are we official now? You know, like boyfriend-girlfriend?," he asked nervously, looking down.
"Depends on if you want us to be...," I said, trying really hard not to smile too big.
"Yeah...I do...," he said, starting to smile. "Me too...," I said, blushing. Then he kissed me on the cheek and I blushed so hard.
Jay is my boyfriend. Jay is my boyfriend. Jay is my boyfriend!!! As soon as I know I am alone in my dorm room later, I will be smiling hugely and squealing. I am so happy.

Mal's POV:
After we had ate a little more, and danced to a few more songs, we were all now walking back to our dorm rooms, for some much needed rest.
Ben and Doug were walking me and Evie back to our dorm.
"I had fun," Evie said, smiling. "Yeah, I did too, it was so much fun," Doug said.
Ben and I nodded, and agreed. It really was fun. Spending a few hours all of us together having a good time.
"Well, bye Eves, see you tomorrow sweetie," Doug said, hugging Evie, before heading off on his way, and Evie went inside our dorm, smiling, and closed the door lightly, giving me and Ben some privacy.
Ben sighed, and played with a strand of my hair. "I love you," he said. "I love you," I said in response.
We were just standing there for a few seconds staring at each other, before I broke the silence.
"What if I fall?," I sang quietly.
"I won't let you fall," Ben sang.
"I've fallen like a fool for you," I sang.
"I'd do anything you want me to," he sang.
"When they're tryna get to you baby," we sang.
"I'll be the fighter," we sang.
"Oh I fall a little farther," we sang.
"Every time you look at me," we sang in conclusion.
We both smiled and kissed. "I love you," he said. "I love you too," I said, and we were just hugging for a few seconds, enjoying each other's company.
We finally gave each other one more tight squeeze in our hug, before letting go, and kissing one more time. "I love you, see you tomorrow," we both said at the same time, then we both smiled and he kissed my hand before I headed into mine and Evie's dorm room, and he headed off to his.
I closed the door lightly when I got in the room. Evie was looking at me questionably. Probably because I have a huge smile on my face.
"I love him so much," I said, with that huge smile still plastered on my face.
"AWWWWW!!!," Evie exclaimed, fangirling, and hugging me.
"When do I get to start planning your wedding?!," she exclaimed.
"Woah, slow down there, Evie. We JUST gave each other promise rings. Don't just jump into anything like that," I said, trying to calm her down a little.
"I know! I'm just excited!!!," she exclaimed excitedly.
"I know, I know, me too," I said, happily. Both of our phones just buzzed.
Evie gasped. "JAY AND LONNIE JUST POSTED THAT THEY'RE OFFICIALLY A COUPLE NOW!!!," Evie exclaimed, very happy.
"Jeez...I'm happy too, but calm down. You want to disturb the whole school?," I asked, holding my ear.
We both started fangirling over how Jay and Lonnie were together now. We ship them so much.
After a few minutes, I went into the bathroom and changed. I changed into the outfit I wore when I went back to the Isle.
I wanted to take a walk outside and get some fresh air.
"Evie, I'm going to go take a walk outside, get some fresh air, okay?," I said.
"Okay. Uh, why are you wearing that? You're not going to the Isle, are you?," she asked, a little worried.
"No, no, of course not! I'll see you when I get back," I said, starting to head to the door. "Okay, see ya," she said.
With that, I went out the door, and downstairs. I quietly went down the halls and downstairs, trying not to wake anyone up. I went out one of the back doors on the back hallway near the tourney field.
I walked around the lawn and the tourney field. It was a nice night. The moon and stars were out, so beautiful.
I walked into the nearby forest, and after a few minutes, started to see some blue whisp-like lights.
I was so confused. What were these things? They were beautiful. It had to be some kind of magic.
As I went a little further, I started to see that they were kinda leading me to this bigger, glowing blue, fiery orb over a tall stone thing. I got closer to it, put my hand to it, and jumped back when I heard my name.
"Mal...," it whispered. I was so confused.
"Dad?," I asked, still confused.

Went to my school orientation tonight, I have friends in a lot of my classes, after a few of us had to get our schedules changed because of other conflicts, but they've all been fixed, and we also have classes together now, which is such a blessing. I start 10th grade, my second year of high school on Monday, the 27th.
