Mal's POV:
I woke up. Where was I? I looked around. I was laying on the stone floor.
I was in some kind of cell in a dungeon or something.
Where was Lonnie? Was she in a separate room? In a separate part of the dungeon? What did they do with her?
I have to get out of here. What are my friends going to think? They'll notice that we've been gone too long sooner or later.
What do these guys want from me? I have no idea, but whatever it is, probably isn't good. And Ben probably thinks that I hung up on him on purpose!
I wish I could just hear his voice right now. If he were here I would tell him that I'm sorry, that I should have believed him and heard him out.
I would tell him that I've missed him, how much I love him, even if I don't say it as many times as I should.
I love him more than he'll ever know. If he were here I would hug him so tightly and probably cry into his shoulder, and give him a heartfelt kiss.
Oh how much I wish that he were here right now. I'm also very anxious about knowing more about my dad.
Do I look like him in any way? Or do I get all of my physical features from my mother? I really wish I could find out more about him right now, I thought.
My thoughts were cut short when I heard the door being unlocked. It was those guys. They opened the door and walked over to where my cell was.
"Where's my friend?! What did you do with her?! What do you want from us?!," I demanded.
"We'll ask the questions around here!," he exclaimed.
"Excuse me? Do you know who you are talking to?," I asked sternly, with a strong glare.
"Oh, yeah. We all know by now. You and your friends saved Auradon from your mother, Maleficent, yada yada yada, you're now Lady of the Court, blah blah blah," they said. I gave them a cold hard stare.
"Anyway, we'll get to the point," they said, throwing a set of keys on the ground in front of me.
"Come out here and find us in a few minutes and then we'll give you further information," they said, pushing the keys through the bars of the door of my cell and then they walked away through the door they came in through.******
Lonnie's POV:
I turned over. I blinked my eyes open. I saw Jay's face right in front of me.
I slightly gasped. He woke up and was about to scream when I quickly put my hand over his mouth.
He calmed down and I slowly removed my hand. We sat up and looked around.
"Where are we?," Jay asked. "I don't know," I said, looking around.
We had been laying on the cold, stone floor. We actually saw that Ben, Doug, Evie, Carlos, Jane, Audrey, and Chad were all in the same large dungeon-like cell as us.
Audrey woke up, stretched her arms out as she sat up. Then she shrieked. "Where are we?!," she exclaimed.
That woke everyone up. "Well, that explains why I didn't sleep well," Evie said, looking at the ground.
Her hair was messed up and Doug started gently fixing it. Evie smiled at him.
"We have to get out of here! I get claustrophobic! Running out of air!," Carlos exclaimed, frantically running around, and then he bumped into Jay.
Jay gave him a look. "Dude, the door is made of bars! There's tons of air coming in here! You're fine!," Jay exclaimed.
Jane sat Carlos back down beside her. "Wait, where's Mal?," I asked aloud.
"Yeah, where is she?," Ben asked. We had looked around and Mal was nowhere to be found.
"Please tell me she's okay," Ben whispered to himself.
"Ben, she'll be fine. She's strong," I said softly, putting a hand on his shoulder.
"Lonnie's right," Jay whispered behind me, chiming in. Ben nodded. "Thanks guys," he whispered back.
"Can I try on your glasses?," Evie asked Doug. Doug took his glasses off and handed them to Evie.
Evie put them on. "O. M. Eyeballs," she said, her eyes widening when she put them on. Doug chuckled.
"Can I try on your tiara?," Doug asked. Evie took her tiara off and handed it to him.
Doug put it on. Evie tried so hard to contain her laugher.
"This hurts my head," Doug said. Evie giggled. "Hey, beauty hurts," she said.
"Don't I know it!," Audrey said nodding, agreeing with Evie.
"Ooh! Selfie time!," Evie exclaimed excitedly, pulling out her phone.
She started taking selfies of her with Doug's glasses and Doug with her tiara.
Then we heard a door being unlocked. It was those guys from earlier.
They opened the door and came over to where our cell was.
"Where's Mal?!," Ben demanded. They chuckled. "You'll find out soon, lover boy," they said.
Ben and the rest of us all gave them death glares. They unlocked our cell and pulled Ben out and quickly closed it and locked it before any of the rest of us could get out.
"The rest of you, behave and stay quiet!," they yelled at us before barging out the door, pulling Ben with them.
We all looked at each other with fearful looks. "Now what?," Jay said, looking down.******
Mal's POV:
I was thinking about how my dad had left my mom and me when I was a baby.
And how I had left Ben and went to the Isle two months ago. I left him when I was under too much pressure from trying to be perfect and fit into the royal lifestyle perfectly.
Maybe that's what made my dad leave. Maybe he was too pressured from my mom. Maybe it was just her, and it wasn't me.
Maybe he thought he wouldn't be able to be good at being a father. Having to stay around and take care of me with my mom.
Maybe he had no choice. Maybe he just had to leave. I could relate to that, I thought as I watched it rain outside the window, raindrops beating on the windowsill. All the raindrops
In the sky tonight
Can't compare with all the pain
And all the tears I've cried
But now I'm doneAll the make believe
Locked in this picture frame
Is gonna stay behind
Along with all the burning rage
That's been tearing through my heart
It killing me slowly
Every beat, I was falling apartI sighed as I picked up the keys that were on the floor that they had slid through the door to me.
I started to unlock the door. They told me to go find them.
Well, this could take awhile. There's no telling how big this place is.Sometimes you give
Sometimes they take
Sometimes you bend
And sometimes they break you down
Sometimes you stick around
Trying to change them
Make them someone
That they'll never be
And sometimes you leaveAll this time I've spent
Staring at the door
Cause I've had the strength
To pack my bags and leave before
But now I'm done
Lying to myself when it's clear
That you're not that oneI sang as I walked from hallway through hallway, and up and down I don't know how many staircases.
Sometimes you give
Sometimes they take
Sometimes you bend
And sometimes they break you down
Sometimes you stick around
Trying to change them
Make them someone
That they'll never be
And sometimes you leaveI ran onto a balcony.
When there's nothing left
For you to leave behind
And you're already too far gone
To say goodbyeI sang into the wind and then ran back inside and started walking through the different hallways again, trying to find them.
Sometimes you give
Sometimes they take
Sometimes you bend
And sometimes they break you down
Sometimes you stick around
Trying to change them
Make them someone
That they'll never be
And sometimes you leaveSometimes you leave
I finished walking through the hallway that I was currently on, and I put my thoughts behind me, as I had no idea what I was about to walk into or what these guys wanted from me.
I walked into a huge room with windows so tall that they went from the floor to almost to the ceiling.
There was also a huge grand staircase. "Hello Mal," a voice said. I looked up to the top of the staircase.
Those guys were standing up there. "For the thousandth time! Who are you?!," I demanded. They smirked.
I gasped as I saw one after the other remove......masks! And I couldn't believe who I saw.To be continued...
CLIFFHANGER!!! Do you think the story is getting really good now? Comment who you think it is that Mal saw! Also, there's only 3 chapters left after this one! 😩
