Audrey's POV:
Jay and I just broke up. I actually couldn't believe it.
But at least it was mutual. We agreed to still be friends, though, which is good.
Now we were walking back over to where the others were at the fire pit. Chad and Lonnie were doing the same.
Jay and I sat on different logs. Lonnie walked over to Jay and sat beside him. Chad came over and sat beside me.
"Thought you could use some company," he said. I smiled.
"Yeah, thanks," I said. I looked over at Jay. Lonnie went over to him.

Jay's POV:
Lonnie came over and sat beside me. "So, how'd it go?," she whispered to me.
"We broke up," I said, looking down. She put a hand on my shoulder.
"I'm sorry Jay, Chad and I did too," she said. I was kinda surprised.
"I'm not sorry about Audrey. It was mutual. I'm sorry for you and Chad though," I said.
"I'm not. It was mutual for us too," she said, looking down.
"So, what now? Going to try to find another prince?," I asked her.
She chuckled. "Maybe I don't really need to try. Maybe the prince I've always been looking for is closer than I think," she said with a small smile.
"Yeah, maybe," I said softly. We ended up just kinda staring at each other but snapped out of it when Carlos started talking loudly.
"Breakfast time!," Carlos called out, carrying some wood. "Is that more wood for the fire pit?," I asked.
"No! It's breakfast!," he said kinda happily. All of us looked confused.
"No. That's bark," Evie said, who looked disgusted by it.
"Oooh I bet it's very good," Jane said, taking a piece of it, and biting into it. We all just sat there and cringed.
Jane started coughing and spitting it out, getting it off her tongue and out of her mouth. "It's not," she said, sounding like she was about to throw up.
"I think I may have some breakfast bars in my bag," Ben said, going into the tent to get them. "Good idea," I said.
Ben came back with a handful of breakfast bars and started handing them out to all of us. Jane took it immediately, opened it, and quickly bit into it.
"Mhmmm, much better than that bark," she said, enjoying it, but glaring at Carlos, who looked embarrassed as he opened his.

Ben's POV:
Soon we had all finished eating our breakfast bars and were now just all scattered about the beach in different places. I was walking with Mal down the beach.
I was wondering if I should talk to Mal about Anthony. I mean I trust Mal, and I know that she would always be honest with me, but I couldn't help but wonder about it.
"Hey, uh, so about that Anthony Tremaine," I started. Mal looked a little annoyed.
"What about him?," she asked.
"Did you two have a thing? What exactly happened between you two?," I asked, really wanting to know.
"Ben, nothing happened. We did not have a thing. He had a crush on me, I don't like him. He asked me to dance with him at Carlos's party, and I only talked to him to shut Jay up," she explained.
"Okay," I said, looking down.
"Ben! I'm being serious. Are you jealous?," she asked, giving me a serious look.
"Maybe, a little. If I'm being honest," I said. She took my hand.
"Ben! You have nothing to be jealous about! I love you and only you," she said.
"I know. I love you too, I'll get over it, I promise," I said. She smiled.
"Good," she said. I put my arm around her, pulling her closer to me.

Anonymous's POV:
"Come on!," I yelled, starting to run back to the stairs after we had seen them on the beach. "What? What do you mean?," he asked, confused.
"What do you think?! We have to go and catch up to them before we lose them again!," I exclaimed, running down the stairs, with him following me.
When we finally got to the bottom of the stairs, we ran into the woods to get to the beach. These kids are about to have a lot coming to them.

Evie's POV:
I decided to go over and talk to Lonnie. She was talking to Jay earlier.
I wanted to know how it went down when she talked to Chad. I walked over to her. She was standing by herself just kinda looking at the ocean.
"Hey, Lonnie," I started, snapping her out of her thoughts.
"Hey, Evie," she said.
"So, how'd it go with Chad?," I asked her.
"We broke up," she said, looking down.
"Oh, I'm sorry, Lonnie," I said, genuinely concerned for her, and hoping she was okay about it.
"I'm not, it was mutual. It was for the best. We just weren't meant to be," she said.
"Well, as long as this is what you both want," I said, with a small smile.
We looked over at where Jay and Carlos were, playing video games on their phones.
"What about Jay? I saw you two talking earlier," I said, with a partial smirk.
"I don't know. I think I might have feelings for him," she said.
"You 'think' or you 'know'?," I asked.
"I know, I think, maybe, yes," she said, blushing.
"I knew it," I said.
"No 'Evie squeal of excitement'?," she asked, a little confused at why I didn't start fangirling when I heard her say that, judging by the fact that I do that every time I'm talking to people about crushes and relationships and stuff.
"I didn't want to embarrass you considering Jay is right over there," I said, motioning to where he and Carlos were.
"Oh okay. In that case, thank you," she said with a chuckle.
It had gotten later by now. We were all sitting around the fire pit chatting now.
"Hey, guys, should some of us go into the woods and see if we can find anything, anyone, anything interesting?," Doug asked.
"Yeah, maybe so, that might be helpful," Ben said.
"Doug and I could go," I said. I kinda wanted to spend a little alone time with my boyfriend, and what better way to do that, than going on a romantic adventure together in the forest?
"Yeah, sounds good," Doug said. "Okay, want to go now?," I asked him.
"Sure," he said. "Great! Let's go!," I said, taking his hand, and we went into the woods.
