The Repents

Chapter 5: The Happy Moment.

Waiting...... Waiting and waiting, I fell asleep and didn't even notice the time. When I woke up, it was 2am. I snapped up and looked at my cellphone with 10missed calls.
I opened it and they were all from Harry. I felt so stupid and so sorry for him. I looked at the last call which was at 1:30am, so I decided to call him.
'Ring... Ring.... Ring,' just when I was about to hang up he picked up...with his sleepy voice and went, " hello..."
"I'm so sorry Harry.... I'm sorry I fell asleep waiting.... I'm sorry." I felt guilty.
"It's alright sweetheart..." He said dreamily.
"That's sweet," I giggled
"Haha... Well, I felt like calling you that," he said shyly.
"I'm sorry you had to wait."
"Well.... Guess what?" He said.
"What?" I replied.
"I'm still outside..." He said.
"You're what ???" I said surprisingly. Just when I really thought he wasn't joking I jumped out of bed.
"Harry, you aren't joking right!" I inquired.
"Mavis." He was serious now.
I climbed downstairs and opened the back door and went out in my backyard and there he was. Smiling and waving. Under the shed was a couch where he sat looking gorgeous and comfortable. I was wearing my green silk nighty with a parrot green gown over it. A chill of fear ran across me as this was by far a different experience.
He stood there looking at me with his glowing eyes. That mesmerising look made me shiver every time. He walked towards me and smiled at my reaction. When he came close enough he held my hands, his touch made electricity pass through my body as if charging me. He looked straight into my eyes and knelled down onto his knees.
"What are u doing?" I giggled.
"Shh... Don't ruin the tempo" he said.
"Mavis Dave... You are my angel. My life and my only reason of existence. I love you from the very core of my heart....." He looked so beautiful and my face awed towards him as this was the most amazing moment of my life. I loved him so much.
"...... Will you please go out with me? I promise to protect you and love u till the very end." He ended.
I felt shy and loved this was just amazing.
"Mavy... Reply already. My knees hurt." I laughed at his childishness.
"Yes.... Yes..... Yess"
He got up and hugged me, I was shocked at his reaction together with happy. Yes, this was the most happy moment of my life. I was happy that he was mine and mine only.
We spent the whole night together in the garden where we sat on the grass, watched the stars, talked; it all seemed new. This was a new Harry. We saw the sun rise together. The time just flew, it was time for class and he had to go as everyone would soon wake up and we'd be busted if anyone saw. So, he hugged me and said that he loves me and went home. That day went splendid. It changed my life, I wasn't ordinary anymore. I was someone special and it felt great."

My eyes open and reality comes back to life...... It's me who doesn't have a perfect life anymore. The door knocks and makes all my perfect fairytale vanish. My eyes flicker at a bee on the window, rubbing her hands as if plotting something very evil as if to destroy my life.....
"What more can you destroy." I spoke to the bee just when it flew away.
Wow! I was talking to the bee, how stupid of me. This flashback made me kinda happy as he lingers into my dreams so clear, and also made me sad for all that was over.
Hebbie Jebbies started again.... As all this caused me my results, my future side by side with my life. My dad came into my room
"Alex!.... She called for the hundredth time would you please call her or open your cellphone," dad said harshly.
I rolled over and picked up my cell and switched it on and as soon as it came to life it 'pinged' and there were about thousand text messages, numerous Facebook notifications along with whatsapp. I laughed at my iPenguin cx it looked sad. Without looking at all those messages I dialled Alex.
It just rang Twice when she picked up.
"You Bitch! What the hell do you think of yourself? Are you some Queen....." She went on and on. "...... I've been calling you for a month now and you Miss. Attitude no lift at all."
Alex was my best friend and she was the one who always bossed around like mommy. Telling me what to do and what not to. I honestly loved her to the moon and back, she had always been there for me and was the one I always count on. She hated Harry, as she thought that he wasn't the right one for me.
I didn't want to argue so I told her to come over to which she happily agreed on. I switched the phone off again, and opened my drawer to keep it. That's where I saw my Diary.
'Danger Again'
I picked it up and Fluttered through the pages to a random date.
