Chapter 25 (edited May 2021)

"If you don't pick a radio station, I'm going to leave you on the side of the road!" Luke laughed, glancing over at Nathan before looking back at the road.

"Sorry, I'm tired and you look really hot right now so I kind of just want to fuck you in the back seat. It's also a million degrees in this goddamn car," Nathan whined as he tugged his shirt off and rolled the windows down further since the air conditioning didn't work. The blonde laughed as he pulled off of the freeway.

"I'm always one for spontaneous backseat ravishing, however Calum will cut both of our heads off if we are late to this dinner. He's at Ashton's right now and we're still two hours away, so I will ease your pain by buying you tacos," Luke said as he pulled up in front of a Taco Bell, putting Nathan's car in park. Nathan leaned over and gently kissed Luke's lips, smiling small.

"You're the best. I'm not putting my shirt back on though," Nathan said as he got out of the car. Luke giggled, shutting the car off and getting out.

"Fine by me as long as any girls in there know that you're mine," Luke said, swaying his hips with a smirk as he walked inside, twirling his keys around his finger. Nathan chuckled, shaking his head as he followed Luke into the Taco Bell. Eyes were on them immediately, ogling or cringing at their lack of clothing and sweaty bodies.  Luke walked up to the counter and leaned his elbows against it, his ass sticking out. Nathan walked up behind him, placing his hands on his hips.

"Um, how, how can I... help you?" A boy asked from behind the counter, trying not to make eye contact with the two other boys. Luke chuckled, standing up straight, leaning his back against Nathan's chest.

"Three burritos, three hard tacos, and two large cokes" Luke ordered with a sweet smile.

"For here or to go?" The boy behind the counter stuttered, his eyes glued to the screen.

"To go." Luke paid before he and Nathan walked over and sat down in a booth. Luke lifted his feet and set them on Nathan's lap, sighing.

"How's your mom?" He asked softly. The last Nathan heard, his mom was in the hospital because her breast cancer was back. Nathan sighed, running a hand through his hair.

"A lot better, she's responding to the new treatment so that's really good," Nathan said. Someone came up to their table and gave them food, receiving two thanks yous.

"That's really good Nate. Are they still thinking about moving her to the house?" Luke asked, unwrapping a burrito.

"Yeah. They're looking at in-home nurses," Nathan muttered.

"She'll be okay babe. Let's eat these in the car. I'll even let you continuously change the radio station," Luke said. Nathan smiled, grabbing the bags of food before following Luke outside.

"Ashton!" Calum whined as he splayed himself out on Ashton's kitchen counter, right where the man was trying to make himself a snack.

"Yes, baby?" Ashton asked with a chuckle.

"It's hot in here. I'm sweating and I hate sweating. I'm all sticky and smelly," Calum complained, wiggling on the counter.
