Chapter Nineteen
On October 1, 90,055, Alcasian Republic Military personnel on duty at one of the many scanner array stations along the 25,000 light-year northern edge of the Alkens Sectors, Berars Sectors, Nerrans Sectors, Lerrabs Sectors, Peeras Sectors, Weesan Sectors, Linns Sectors, Wren Sectors, and Cellsas Sectors, who had just come on duty, noticed several groups of Alcasian Federal Military starships, cruisers, and destroyers headed straight towards them.
Alcasian Republic Military Colonel John Xander brought this to attention of Scanner Array Station Omega-900005-A's commanding officer, who immediately transmitted an encrypted communique to the Alkens Sectors Alcasian Republic Military Field Command Headquarters.
In the war room at Alkens Sectors Alcasian Republic Military Field Command Headquarters, Alcasian Republic Military Field Commander Andrew Brians looked over the real-time holographic map of the 2,777 by 1,000 light-year Alkens Sectors which showed the positions of each Combat Assault Group along the northern edge.
As he was studying the current deployment of Alcasian Republic Military starships, cruisers, and destroyers along the 2,777 light-year northern edge, the communique from Scanner Array Station Omega-900005-A was authenticated by one of the communication officers on duty who immediately motioned to Alcasian Republic Military Field Commander Andrew Brians to join him.
"Sir, scanner array stations have detected 262,144,400 Alcasian Federal Military starships, cruisers, and destroyers headed towards the scanner array stations, communications array reception transmission stations, listening posts, and orbital bases along the northern edge." Alcasian Republic Military Colonel Fred Evans commented as Alcasian Republic Military Field Commander Andrew Brians read over the decrypted communication.
Upon reading the communique, Alcasian Republic Military Field Commander Andrew Brians immediately issued orders for all Alcasian Republic Military Combat Assault Groups and the Aerial Assault Groups attached to those units to hold off the Alcasian Federal Military forces as long as possible.
At the same time, along the 2,777 light-year northern edges of the Berars Sectors, Nerrans Sectors, Lerrabs Sectors, Peeras Sectors, Weesan Sectors, Linns Sectors, Wren Sectors, and Cellsas Sectors, each group of 262,144,400 Alcasian Republic Military starships, cruisers, and destroyers situated along that stretch of space were also ordered to contain the Alcasian Federal Military advance as well.
On each group of 262,144,400 Alcasian Republic Military starships, cruisers, and destroyers, Alcasian Republic Military flight crews, armory officers and enlisted, engineering officers and enlisted personnel, medical personnel were ordered to their battle stations.
In the armories onboard each starship, cruiser, and destroyer, missiles and torpedeos equipped with transphasic warheads were loaded into the forward missile and torpedeo launchers, then fired towards the Alcasian Federal Military starships, cruisers, and destroyers.
This initial attack by Alcasian Republic Military personnel on the starships, cruisers and destroyers severely damaged or destroyed hundreds of starships, cruisers, and destroyers on the Alcasian Federal Military side.
Meanwhile in the Alcasian Republic-controlled Agarin Sectors, Aton Sectors, Kinnan Sectors, Medan Sectors, and Allejan Sectors which covered a 25,000 light-year by 1,000 light-year area of space due west of the Alkens Sectors, Berars Sectors, Nerrans Sectors, Lerrabs Sectors, Peeras Sectors, Weesan Sectors, Linns Sectors, Wren Sectors, and Cellsas Sectors, Alcasian Republic Military forces were also placed on alert.
On each group of orbital bases, scanner array stations, communications array reception transmission stations, orbital weapon platform stations, listening posts, and spacedocks, each group of 25,000 Alcasian Republic Military officers and enlisted personnel proceeded to conduct a number of combat drills, hoping they would be prepared for sudden attacks by Alcasian Federal Military, Sarian Federal Military, Sancalian Federal Military, Kanalsian Federal Military, and Lisalian Federal Military forces.
