As ordered, Alcasian Federal Military Captain Reyens relayed the orders from Alcasian Federal Military Commander Kevins to the rest of the Alcasian Federal Military starships, cruisers, and destroyers which comprised which had not been destroyed or severely damaged to active shields and weapons, and scan for weapons fire.

As the orders went out to each group of 262,144 Alcasian Federal Military starships, crusiers, and destroyers, each vessel's bridge weapon control officers activated weapons and shields while the scanner control officers began active scans for weapons fire from the Alcasian Republic Military forces.

Meanwhile on onboard the Alcasian Republic Military Alcasia-class starship Aggera which served as the flagship of , on duty at the weapon control console watched as the now armed and shielded continued to advance into the Merridan Sectors Northern District.

Likewise at the scanner control console, Alcasian Republic Military Captain Jeff Smith also the watched the advancing Alcasian Federal Military starships, cruisers, and destroyers comprising AFM Combat Assault Groups Omega-Alpha-01.

"Sir, the AFM forces have activated their shields and weapons." Alcasian Republic Military Captain Jeff Smith told the Aggera's CO, Alcasian Republic Military Commander Darren Roberts. "Not only that, they are actively scanning for weapons' fire."

"Damn, somebody on our one of our orbital bases must have decided to let the AFM forces know we are out here." Alcasian Republic Military Commander Darren Roberts responded. He turned to , a 25 year old who had served on five other vessels, seated at the communications console. "Harson, relay these orders to all combat assault groups: Do not activate or launch weapons until AFM Combat Assault Groups Omega-Alpha-01 are in visual range."

"Understood, sir." Alcasian Republic Military Captain Harson replied as he transmitted the orders dictated by Alcasian Republic Military Commander Darren Roberts to the other starships, cruisiers, and destroyers comprising the consituent units of Alcasian Republic Military Combat Assault Groups Alpha-009765-AA.

One after the other, each combat assault group commander sent back coded transmissions acknowledging the orders give to them. Then it was a matter of paitently waiting for the Alcasian Federal Military starships, cruisers, and destroyers to wander into the trap set for them.

Over in the Aggeria's armory, Alcasian Republic Military Lieutenant Arran, one of many of armory officer and enlisted personnel on duty grew frustrated over the sit and wait order. "We should be going to them not waiting for them to come to us."

"I'd love to fire a bunch of these missiles and torpedeos at the AFM starships, cruisers, and destroyers, but orders are orders." Alcasian Republic Military Colonel Jefferson, the Aggera's Chief Armory Officer replied.

After several hours had gone by, the Alcasian Federal Military starships, cruisers, and destroyers which comprised AFM Combat Assault Groups Omega-Alpha-01 could now be seen in the distance by the Alcasian Republic Military personnel onboard the Aggera and the rest of Alcasian Republic Military Combat Assault Groups Alpha-009765-AA.

"AFM forces are starting to enter visual range. Shall I lock targets and prepare to fire?" Alcasian Republic Military Captain Jack Bran asked from the bridge weapon control console.

"Lock weapons, but do not fire until I give the order to do so." Alcasian Republic Military Commander Darren Roberts responded.

He then spoke into the command chair's intercom. "CO to all flight crews, get to your shuttles and transports and prepare to launch."
