Soon as the VACS transmission had terminated between Alcasian Republic Military Headquarters on Alcasia and Alcasian Republic Military Field Command Headquarters on Asetan One, Akerras One, Alentan One, Aliins One, Alisan One, and Aliern One, Alcasian Republic Military Commander Jacobson got up from his desk and pondered whether or not Widan's plan would work.
"Franks, this is Commander Jacobson. Get me the Aerial Assault Unit Commanders on a secured channel." Alcasian Republic Military Commander Jacobson said to his Executive Officer, Alcasian Republic Military General Thomas Franks via his handheld Video Audio Communication Screen.
"Sir, is this channel secure?" Alcasian Republic Military General Thomas Frank inquired of his commanding officer. "The image shown on the five inch screen was one of Alcasian Republic Military General Franks walking down the central corridor on the fifth floor of Aliern One ARM Field Command Headquarters.
"Of course it's secure, Franks." Commander Jacobson responded to his Executive Officer. "We need to do this now."
"Understood sir." Alcasian Republic Military General Franks told his Commanding Officer as he terminated the Video Audio Communication Screen transmission and the image of Alcasian Republic Military Commander Jacobson seated at the desk in his office disappeared from the screen.
Alcasian Republic Military General Franks brought up the real-time tactical data that showed the positions of the Alcasian Federal Military starships, crusiers, destroyers and support vessels currently in the Aliern Sectors.
Without delay, Alcasian Republic Military General Franks proceeded to contact the various Alcasian Republic Military Aerial Assault Commanders on the planets there in the Aliern Sectors. As each Aerial Assault Commander authenticated his identity, images appeared on the large wall-mounted screen.
"ARMCOS has orders for your Aerial Assault Groups to attack the Alcasian Federal Military starships, crusiers, destroyers and support vessels currently passing through the Assetan Sectors, Akerras Sectors, Alentan Sectors, Aliins Sectors, Alisan Sectors and Aliern Sectors." Alcasian Republic Military General Franks said to the Aerial Assault Commanders. "I want the ground crews to disable the transponder signals on our shuttles and transports."
"Disable the transponders, sir?" One of the Aerial Assault Group Commander responded. "What if we accidently take our own vessels instead of the enemy's?"
"Gleason, that wasn't a suggestion by the way." General Franks answered. "You and the other Aerial Assault Group Commanders are under direct orders to disable those transponders. Is that clear?"
"Crystal clear, sir." Alcasian Republic Military Commander Gleason said to General Franks.
Shortly thereafter, Alcasian Republic Military Commander Gleason and the other Alcasian Republic Military Aerial Assault Group Commanders there on the surface of Aliern One and other several hundred million planets in the Aliern Sectors began to quickly brief the flight crews at the various Landing Platforms.
Over at Alcasian Republic Military Landing Platform Alpha 77654543-A1, Commander Gleason stood in a large briefing room at the platform's headquarters building as the Commanding Officers, Executive Officers, Flight Control Officers, Weapon Control Officers, Scanner Officers, and Communication Officers filled up the available seats.
On the large Computer Access Terminal Screen on the wall behind Commander Gleason, the tactical display showed the current positions of the Alcasian Federal Military starships, crusiers, and destroyers which continued to pass through the planetary systems in the Asetan Sectors, Akerras Sectors, Alentan Sectors, Aliins Sectors, Alisan Sectors and Aliern Sectors.
