It is a blessing
And a curse
To feel everything
So very deeply.d.j
Once, there was a salty man, his name was Frain. He had a very complicated, yet very simple problem. He thinks too much- no- he overthinks too much. A bit pessimistic and sensitive about it, may I add.One day, he motivated his little heart to find inner peace, calm his mind with the soothing serenity of laying back and "just chilling, yo".
For days, he tried to manage himself. For weeks, he was devastated by the almost simultaneous and contradicting advices and opinions of the numerous people around him. For years, he endured all the pessimism, and at last, he overcame his tragedy.
Feeling fresh and positive, he decided to go to a park to refresh his mind. A good habit of his which came from the training he got years ago.
He sat down one of the benches near the almost identical trees that enhanced the symmetrical look of the park.
Just as he was about to cross his legs, the blowing wind that moved the very nature around him seemed to gradually pace in a slower rate, then into a smooth halt.
Confused, he looked around at his surroundings to check if he was an unlucky target for an elaborate prank. He looked to the left, where he saw people frozen, as if all of the humans in the park were magically turned into souless mannequins. He turned to the right and saw the same confusing scene, but something made him think, "Wait a minute."
He realized that there was something not right when he turned towards the other direction, and he found out what it was, right in front of him. A man wearing a black coat and a black hat, which caught his attention.
The only attention.
For they were the only living beings that seemed to move with air in their lungs and blood flowing through their veins.
"Excuse me, but, it seems that time has happened to stop in this place. Would you be the mastermind who caused such awesome work?" Frain asked, trying to calmly talk his way out of this prank.
"Yes- uhh- well, it's hard to explain everything right away, really. So, I guess 'I shall avoid' considering it as an option. Now, 'I invite you, sir,' to have a quick stroll around with me. Don't worry, it won't take any time." he chuckled, "And we won't travel that ar, really, just around this... 'timeless' park."
" 'Timeless'?" The odd gentleman smiled and trodded on without giving much attention to Frain and his question, as if he was confident that dear Frain is sure to accept this mysterious invitation from a total stranger in the strangest circumstance, in which case, Frain did, being a curious lad and all.
