"Damn it all." Guren spat.

"Now now. Just because we're both trying to beat Kureto doesn't mean you should do it all on your own, I mean; Mahiru and I are in it with you."

"Fuck off Shinya. Mahiru just wants to kill Kureto, and pick up where he left off, can't you see?"

Guren began coughing, his face tensing up; and when his eyes shot open, a crimson color took over his irises.

"Don't listen to him, younger brother. He is but a foolish man, a man who is delusional."

"A man who you fell for."

"That is correct. But there are reasons I love this man, he is willing to go all lengths to keep his friends safe."

"You haven't seen his apprentice then."

"Excuse me?"

Waking up on Yu's chest was lovely. Other than the massive strain on her neck. Shinoa stood up and stretched out, popping cracks in her joints.

"Welcome back." Yu said, his voice grumbly.

"What? Not my fault you're weak."

"That's not the point! They all saw us! And now they can't even look at me!"

"Well you were the one who asked to cuddle!"

"Was not!"

"Were too!"

"Not!"

"Cut it out."
Mika walked into the room, his face tensed and annoyed.

"Uh, sorry, Mikaela."

"Hmf." Mika marched off, his shoulders still tense.

"Wouldn't kill you to loosen up!" Shinoa punched Yu's shoulder as Mika disappeared around the corner.

"We should join them, they're waiting for us." Yu nodded, and waited for Shinoa to move out the room.

"What?"

"... What?"

"Mhm, but that's something for another day," Shinya allowed a slight chuckle to escape his lips. "It's funny how you fell for Guren; but your doppelgängers had different fates. Yu fell for her, after all."

"Tsk." Guren turned on his heel, or rather, Mahiru turned on Guren's; if that makes sense.

"Hyakuya."

At the mention of the name, Mahiru stopped; her left eye slightly twitching.

"Yuichiro Hyakuya, the supposed; seraph of the end."

"That's not right, Krul and I were sure to eliminate all the children carrying the seraph gene..." Mahiru stopped for a moment, and groaned loudly; her voice starting to crumble.

"M-Mahi-ru." The body began swapping personalities. "D-Damn you!"

The eyes turned back to their monotone color and texture; Guren was able to regain somewhat of the control.

"You idiot! What do you think will happen if you tell her the most powerful being in the universe is head over heels for her sister?!"

"She's my sister, I know she won't—"

"You don't know anything! Leave before she returns!"
