There was a second of silence. Shinoa and Mitsuba were certain that time itself had stopped. It was obvious that Shinoa would fear the two nobles ahead of them. For gods sake, the power difference between her and them was so great. Great enough to fill her love of her sister and Yu, but still have more room.

"What's wrong, cat got your tongue?"
Chess smirked.

"They've probably realized that they're all just livestock. Shame too, the green-eyed one is cute as heck."
Horn sighed, looking at Yu's wary face.

"Livestock huh?"
A small drizzle of spit flew down his throat as he swallowed down his anger.
His stomach was tearing itself apart, inside out.

"Let's get this started shall we?"
Mikaela smirked at the two smug vampires and took a few steps forward.

"Before we do, I have a question. Have you ever thought about losing one another?"
Yu raised an eyebrow, and waited patiently, but was eventually greeted by cold laughter. He felt like a fool. Of course they didn't. They were vampires for crying out loud! The only emotion they could feel, which probably wasn't an emotion, was thirst and hunger. Quite literally bloodthirsty and vicious, the fanged abominations were a taint to the world.

And with that, Chess and Horn dashed forwards, dodging all the moves the kids threw at them. It was when Horn noticed the weakness and exhaustion in Yoichi's eyes, that she decided to attack.

Yoichi gasped, but had a smirk to follow, almost as if it was planned.
"What was that about strategy?"

She read his lips, because her hearing was masked by the slice of something, and Chess screaming wildly.
"Fucking sheep! You can't fight back!"
She hissed, dashing away and covering her shoulder.

"You know, that arm isn't half bad. Sword, drink the blood of a progenitor's arm."
Mika stabbed the tip of his sword into the arm, and watched it slowly deteriorate over time.

"Heh. A hunger sword. You're not the source, are you?"
Horn dashed back and stared at the boy.

"Who is the blood being forwarded to?"
Chess asked, wincing in pain from her severed arm.

"Well, It's being sent straight to Yu's sword. Imagine his seraph form."
Mikaela smirked when the two stepped back.

"Fine! Chess, let's get outta here."
Horn grabbed Chess and dashed out, she could vaguely hear the otherwise thundering footsteps.

"They're going to lose us on the roof, they'll jump!"
Shinoa grabbed her scythe and spun it around.
"Quickly. Yu, go with Mika, and get to the roof, Mitsuba and I will summon demons from down here while Yoichi will shoot arrows, Kimizuki, please, for gods sake, force a barrier here and make sure nobody sees it."
Shinoa knew Kimizuki had learned a handful of magical tomes, so making an invisible barrier wasn't going to be too tough, it'd be something just right.

A small blue hemisphere  appeared around them and the smoke from the fight before dissipated.
"Yoichi, block off the routes of which they are going to use. Mitsuba and I will help. Kimizuki, if you're done with the barrier, climb up your way from the path I mark with my shadow."
With that, Shinoa used the setting sun to point out the way he should maneuvers. Either way, the group was after lightening fast vampires. Mika and Yu were up there, but it was sure scary, a human and a vampire, against two nobles. Surely a tough fight.
