Shinoa shot up, an unconscious Yu laid beside her, holding her close. She had to admit. It was cozy and warm whenever he shared a hug with her.
She slowly recalled the memories of what happened the day before, the incident revolving around Chess.
She remembered the sweet kiss they shared. It felt too sweet to be real, but she knew it was. She just did.
"A-Ah. You finally woke up."
Yu yawned heavily and brought himself up, trying to look at the short girl.
"Yu-san, because of the kiss we shared last night, how about we start doing it more often?"
Shinoa didn't even notice her lips move, almost as if her body decided to remove certain words from her tongue.
"E-Excuse me?"
Yu froze in place and looked at Shinoa, up-to-down and back down-to-up.
"What... k-k-kiss?"
Yu certainly didn't remember it, and he could've sworn he never even thought of making contact with her sweet, soft and petite lips.
"Hm."
A peculiar smile made its way into Shinoa's face.
"You know, I was choking on dust and you began to kiss me?"
"You haven't been awake since you've been dug out of the debris."
Yu stitched his eyebrows together and looked at her, confused.
"Wh-Wait. What?"
Shinoa shot into a deep shade of crimson, her body paralyzed.
"P-P-Pervert—"
"Shinoa, you're awake? Good god you're excited, we're glad you're okay and all, but we've got a visitor."
Mitsuba gestured for the short periwinkle to make her way down the hall, into the dining area.
"A visitor?"

Krul sat patiently in the cell, and waited for her next cup of blood. It wasn't the blood of a human, it was the near-spoilt blood of an animal she didn't want to know.
"Ah, Queen. Here."
Lacus Welt lowered the cup as if she was an animal, and she swallowed it down in a split-second. Not amused by the sarcasm dripping from his words.
She waited till he turned his back, and when he did, she showed a slender hand through the cell, and pierced his stomach, rupturing his guts.
He moaned softly and dropped unconscious, his body already regenerating. Krul knew she was not good on time, so he ripped off his shoe and began feeding on his blood.
His breathing eventually stopped as she kept feeding violently, not as if vampires would need oxygen to survive, but it was essential in the fact; that they needed a handful of amount a month. After all, most of the oxygen they consume comes from blood.
She smirked and, with her new found strength, tore apart the metal cell.
"She broke—"
Another victim met their demise, Krul dashed ahead and ripped apart their throat, dropping the hooded vampire to the ground.
"Heh."
Krul shoved on two pairs of boots, significantly increasing her height, she also threw a white, vampire jacket over herself.
"I'm on my way Mika."
And she exited from the dungeons.

"You disgust me, kids."
Crowley Eusford stood ahead, holding Mika, Kimizuki and Yoichi captive.
"You must be the lovely lady I had chosen to feed on, on that fateful September evening."
He dropped the unconscious three, and smiled at Shinoa.
"I will make you my wife, and will make you a vampire. Humans do not appreciate your glory, my fair maiden—"
"Oi. Watch it."
Yu's eyes were glowing gold, he was possessive of his family as it was, but someone threatening, or rather forcing the transformation of a human to a vampire, would trigger him furthermore. Especially if the human was his family.
"You dare lay a filthy vampire toenail on anyone of my family. Mark my words, I will tear you apart."
"Aha. Cute livestock. Chess and Horn must've been pretty stupid to die to you. Then again, I never liked them."
Yu swallowed down the bile that built into his throat yet again. The fact that Crowley thought so lowly of his lifelong partners made his skin crawl.
"You'll do this with your own kind too. Won't you?"
Mitsuba spat in disgust.
"Keep it calm."
Shinoa used her leadership authority to calm the situation.
"Crowley-kun. If you would like to take me from my team, you can try."
Shinoa let her trademark smirk cover her face.
"I will try, and I will succeed."
Crowley jumped away and disappeared into the bright saturated colors of a Friday morning.
