Fear is a mere interpretation of the unknown.

Morning came quickly; Yu woke up with a stiff neck and a terrible headache; he could've sworn he hadn't done anything intense the night before.

He slowly sat up, stretching out and yawning loudly into the tent. He hesitantly opened his eyelids, and looked around the tent. He quickly exited the tent; into the small, lush forest they had camped in.

He seemed lost; everything was out of place yet awfully familiar looking, he shoved his way through bushes and shrubs, trying to reach the outskirts of the grounds.

A soft wind pushed his glowing raven hair back, his eyes slightly burned as they adjusted to the sunlight, he looked down to his hand, and noticed a few callouses, perhaps from his extensive training sessions.

He quickly pushed it into his pocket and walked back to the tent. He sat on the outside, sighing as he looked around for his comrades.

"Where are—"

"Yu-San!" A soft, pleasant voice entered his ears; the only voice of the group that could ease his mind and make him feel appreciated; Yoichi.

"Yoichi!" A slight chuckle escaped his lips as he quickly pounced to his feet to greet the boy. "Where is everyone?"

"Well, about that-"

"Lies," A deep, coarse voice mumbled into a hollow prison cage. "Krul Tepes is alive, and well,"

"And how, exactly, are you going to prove that?" A distorted voice whispered through a speaker.

"I'm bonded to her by blood." The voice began to become clearer; Mika, and of course he had gotten himself captured; he wasn't willing to drink blood, ever.

A chuckle echoed in the dark room.

"Come on, don't be stupid, Mika-kun."

Footsteps began to clatter against the floor, forcing a smirk onto Mika's face.

"We aren't bonded by blood, idiot." The voice-distorter was thrown to the ground; and a sweet, childish voice was heard. "But if you're into the vampire way of love," The entity giggled. "We can arrange that too."

Deep crimson eyes shined in the dark room, as the cowl flew off the short silhouette and revealed a childish figure. "Miss me?" The figure pushed against the cage, staring deep into the once blue eyes of a hopeless Mika.

"Krul!" Mika's eyes widened, his strength instantly returning to him as he tore through the metal bars and tackled the short queen into a long and loving embrace.

And she was just as eager to return the embrace; she slowly pushed Mika's head to her shoulder, and she smiled, stroking his golden locks. "Drink,"

"A noble?"

Yu's heart rate began to race.

"Yes, and it was strong; fast, we couldn't see it but it attacked, and it nearly killed Mitsuba-san,"

Yu's eye widened; turning a hue of red, and slowly stabilizing to its envious green. "It did what?"

Yoichi gulped. "It attacked them, it took Mika, and the others,"

"Are you alright?" He asked Yoichi, walking towards him. "Where's Asuramaru?"

"Yu-san, you can't, Mika-kun told us not to let you use Asuramaru!"

"You're kidding right? They're going to die if we don't do anything, Yoichi! My family is going to die, if I don't do anything, again."

"Mika hid Asuramaru, even I don't know where it is,"

"Fine; I'll have to do things my way then. Do you have an idea of where they might be? Maybe a building that seemed suspicious or likely to have a few hostages, refugees, or something of the sort?"

"The central bus stop seems to have good cover from the main stadium roof, so no snipers can attack, and it's protected by a pretty tough roof, so no airstrikes or spells can break through. I'd say they'd be held there since its the hardest place to breach around here."

"And where exactly is it?"

"About three kilometers away," Yoichi sighed. "Vampires are pretty darn fast, right?"

"We leave in 10, grab our stuff, and stay posted at a vantage point. I'll be sending you signals by morse code-"

"Ah, it's alright! I can communicate with any black-demon user, it's a spell I learnt," Yoichi blushed softly, embarrassed by the fact he had to change Yu's plan.

"Even better, let me know which route is safest and the fastest, alright?"

"Roger!"
