Yu's vision was hazy then. His throat tightened, and his heart stopped. He had hoped to God that he'd have been killed there and then, but as faith had it, he didn't.

Shinoa was silent, her eyes were covered by her soft purple bangs; her hair untied and lying behind her back.

"He asked her twice, and she stayed silent— so he leaned forwards, and whispered it in her ear, one more time," Yū leaned forwards, his heart still struggling to beat. "Shinoa, do you love me?" His whisper enter her ears; His eyes were shut now, he waited patiently, even if it meant he had to sleep next to her.

"Continue the story." Shinoa barely managed to squeak out. Her voice wasn't the usual bossy and strict tone; it was done to a sweet and girly tone. She was clearly embarrassed then.

Yū chuckled softly, he sat back up and sighed. "And she still hadn't responded, so he smiled, sadly. And then he heard, those sweet words—"

"Yes, I love you; idiot." Shinoa's voice was low and casual; her embarrassment was overridden by passion, in a way.

"And then—" Yū leaned forwards, pushing his head against her forehead. "He stole her first—"

"Yū! Yū! Wake up, idiot!" Yu's eyes burnt beneath the raging sunlight, as he looked up at a blonde, who was screaming down at his form.

"W-What?" He shook his head. It was a dream? Damn it all.

He lightly grasped the patches of grass around him, and pulled himself to sit up.  "Ah, sorry, I caught a cold, I think."

"Great. We can't wait—" Mitsuba started.

"We won't, Yū-chan. Can you move?"

"Of course I can! This is nothi—"

"Good, then let's get going." Shinoa appeared from behind him, walking past him with her hands placed behind her back.

"Half-a-day left, eh, Captain?"

"Correct, Yū-san. And could you call me darling, more often? I just want you to treat me like the sweet princess I am—"

"Cut the crap!" Mitsuba screeched, her cheeks turning a burning shade of red.

Mika whistled. "You're awfully emotional when it comes to my Yū-chan, ladies."

"Aha? Your Yū-chan? Me and Yū-san have practically made love to each—"

"Woah, woah woah! Shinoa, enough!" Yu's cheeks turned a hue of crimson. "We haven't done anything of the sort, and besides! I'm a cherry boy, remember?"

"A cherry man, now, after all, you were so manly; lifting my small body from the floor and pushing me against a tree, all whilst I begged you innocently: "Yū-san, we can't."

"Fine, fine! I get it, just stop it already!" His body dropped back to the ground, and his eyes shut. "Fuck." He cursed under his breath.

Yoichi and Kimizuki heard from behind them though, having two girls and an overly attached brother fighting is a pretty loud situation.

"Oi, Baka-Yū." Kimizuki roared. He sounded like a military sergeant. "Quit the act, and suck it up."

"Suck up what? The act, or your inability to talk to your family properly?" His voice turned cold quick— he always valued Kimizuki's presence, but he hated his way of talking.

The whole group went quiet. All of them mumbled a few words and went back to their respective tents. Shinoa, however, approached Yū.

"Hey, if it's about the teasing—"

"Quit it before I actually end up pushing you against a tree, and doing lewd things to you, Stupid girl."

Shinoa turned into a tomato. Her ears were burning and her eyes widened to the size of wheels.

"Get me some water, please." He turned to face her, he lowered the tone of his voice, and sighed. "I'm sorry, I had another nightmare."
