"Can I talk to you husband?"
Ƒáeláƞ looked up and smiled at Mỷrἇ. "What does my beautiful wife want to ask me?"
Mỷrἇ walked across the floor of their honeymoon hut and squatted down next to him. She fidgeted with the bracelets that he had given her and gave him a worried look. "I don't want to anger you with my question."
"You can ask me anything. You know that Mỷrἇ."
"I know Ƒáeláƞ, but I don't want to cause problems."
"Ask me your questions and then I'll decide if it'll cause me problems."
Mỷrἇ took a deep breath before she stopped fidgeting with her bracelets and met Ƒáeláƞ's gaze. "I am uncomfortable around Maŗŗők. I know he is your friend, but he makes me feel vile after he looks at me."
Ƒáeláƞ sighed and sat down the dried berries he was busy grinding into powder. "I should have told you, but I didn't want you to worry. Maŗŗők was in love with your Mother while she was married to your Father. He never got over how she chose your Father or him."
Mỷrἇ seemed surprised. "is that why both you and Jåcóbӱ refuse to leave me along?"
"I told Jåcóbӱ about Maŗŗők. Maŗŗők is my dear friend, but I will not stand for him hurting you. He has never gotten over your Mother. That is why I do not like letting you wander off very far by yourself. It'll be easier once you are stronger in your magic."
A look of female cunning crossed Mỷrἇ's face as she leaned closer to Ƒáeláƞ. "My magical strength has been increasing each time we sleep together."
"Well," Ƒáeláƞ said as he traced an invisible line down his wife's face. "I think I am ready and willing to help you become stronger."
Mỷrἇ giggled as she leaned forward and placed a passionate kiss on Ƒáeláƞ's lips. "We still have 10 days before we are expected to appear back in public."
Ƒáeláƞ laughed as he grabbed Mỷrἇ and pinned her beneath him. "I am up for the unspoken challenge I hear in your words."
Unknown by the two lovers was a shadow that separated from the forest and snuck to the side of the hut. The moonlight shone weakly down illuminating Maŗŗők's features as he slid along the wall of the hut to one of the windows that allowed light into the hut. A malicious light gleamed in his eyes as he watched the two lovers in their passionate embrace. Jealousy burned deep in his heart as he watched.
Maŗŗők decided that he would do whatever it took to gain Mỷrἇ. He had lost Äçåçiå to Dárkmëre. If he couldn't have Äçåçiå then he would have the next best thing. Mỷrἇ would learn to love him. All he had to do was to get rid of her brother and husband. A plan began to form as Maŗŗők watched the lovers. Retribution would be his. He would not be cheated from gaining what he wanted. No one would stand in his way.
