Jåcóbӱ stood behind Mỷrἇ and Ƒáeláƞ as they waited for Âkįŀ, Äçåçiå, and Dárkmëre to show back up with the natives. He didn't like this, but he knew that it was for the best. Jåcóbӱ planned on keeping a close eye on all of the natives. If they harmed his family they would regret it.

"Here they come."

Jåcóbӱ shifted so that he could look to where Mỷrἇ was pointing. His niece and nephews stood a head taller than the natives with them. Pride stirred in his breast as he looked at his sister's children. They did him proud.

The three adults watched as the now grown children brought the natives up to them. A smile curved across Äçåçiå's face as she greeted her parents. Jåcóbӱ was a little surprised when she came and stood by him. Äçåçiå gave him a smile as she sidled up to her side. Jåcóbӱ snorted as he let her take up her position. He knew Äçåçiå and her fighting style to well to be fooled. Dárkmëre took up a position on his father's left while Âkįŀ introduced the natives.

"Mother, Father, and Uncle, I'd like to introduce you to Şenġa, Şèaġhdha, Ŧadġh, and Ùną." As Âkįŀ spoke he motioned to a slender brown headed woman with a gap toothed smile, a burly man with wild black hair, a short man with feminine hands, and a mature looking woman with unruly golden colored hair.

"Welcome," Mỷrἇ said as she made motions for them to come with her. "I have food prepared. Let us sit, eat, and talk around the fire."

Âkįŀ translated. Şèaġhdha nodded and spoke before they all followed Mỷrἇ to the fire. Şenġa, Şèaġhdha, Ŧadġh, and Ùną sat intermixed with Âkįŀ, Äçåçiå, and Dárkmëre. Ƒáeláƞ, Mỷrἇ, and Jåcóbӱ ass sat facing them. Mỷrἇ passed out the food and drink. The natives all spoke the same words as they were served which Âkįŀ said was their word for thank you.

As they ate they talked. Âkįŀ acted as translator. Jåcóbӱ kept his eyes and ears open to all that happened. He noticed how Ùną watched him with her moss colored eyes. Every time Jåcóbӱ looked at her she dropped her gaze. He was a little flustered at her behavior. No one had ever eyed him the way she did.

The sun set as the talked and night fell. The stars came out and shone brightly before the natives got up to leave. Jåcóbӱ escorted them to the tree line with Âkįŀ. They stopped and spoke to Âkįŀ before they turned to disappear into the trees. Ùną paused and looked back at Jåcóbӱ with unreadable eyes before she disappeared.

Âkįŀ chuckled as they headed back up to their home. Jåcóbӱ looked at him before he smacked him up the side of the head. Âkįŀ punched him back. Jåcóbӱ chuckled as he threw an arm around his nephews shoulder as they reached the house.

They were both oblivious to the eyes that watched them from the forest. Şenġa, Şèaġhdha, Ŧadġh, and Ùną turned from the house as soon as Jacoby and Âkįŀ disappeared inside. They spoke quickly in their language. Ùną was quiet as she followed her companions. Their thoughts were all on what had transpired, but her mind was stuck on the man named Jåcóbӱ. Ùną knew that it would be hard to keep her thoughts off of him and she would try. She would try her hardest, but in the end Ùną knew that she would fall. After just one look, Jacoby had stolen her heart. All Ùną hoped for was that she could capture his heart as well.
