Chapter 6:

Shawn's POV
I'm not sure what came over when I was talking to Monique all I knew was that I hated seeing her like that she looked hurt and vulnerable. The way her head hung low and how her eyes showed no sign of excitement I suddenly had the urge to want to hold her and tell her that everything will be alright but I objected to by instead putting my arm around her shoulder and leading her back to rehearsals.
I'm not sure why but as soon as we walked in Briana quickly walked over to Monique and hugged her. I smiled at the gesture before I started to feel a little jealousy building up because I didn't have the courage to hug her like that.
"I really missed something didn't I" I asked as they pulled apart and looked at me Both girls had different facial expressions Briana's was angry and sympathetic as Monique's expression was sad. Noticing this Briana insisted that we should get back to practicing. 'What the hell happened?' I thought to myself
No longer feeling in the mood to go through all of the songs again I insisted that everyone should go out and do something fun since the tour starts tomorrow. With no objections everyone decided to head out. I started to panic as I dug in my pockets looking for my phone until I remembered that I had lost it. I heard someone clear their throat as I threw my head back letting out an annoyed sigh.
"Are you okay?" Monique asked
"Yea, I just lost my phone yesterday when we bumped into each other and I keep digging in my pockets forgetting that I lost it". I said giving her an embarrassed smile
"Oh Crap!" She said face palming herself before she continued "I totally forgot I found a phone yesterday, I should've figured it was yours as it was off to the side by where I had practically tackled you the other day. I'm so sorry I didn't even get a chance to ask if anyone lost a phone before Aaron started dra--"
I noticed her rambling and although it was quiet cute I didn't want her to apologize for something that wasn't her fault. She keeps doing it as if she told Aaron to drag her away like that but she didn't so I decided to put a stop to her rambling
"it's okay, no worries alright" I said chuckling "and by the way I don't think you tackled me I think I tackled you!" I said sternly
"Is that so?" She said raising her left eyebrow up while smirking at me. 'Damn she's hot' I thought to myself. Before I had the chance to say something back I was interrupted by Z. He's a sick violinist. He puts a whole nother sound to songs when he plays along with the other violist David. Those two together could have a their own show in Vegas if they wanted to so I was happy when they auditioned to be apart of my tour.
"Aye Shawn everyone was thinking about going bowling then going for a bite to eat you wanna come?" Z asked as the others had looked at me waiting for an answer
"Nah sorry guys but I think I'm going to hang out with Mo" I said loud enough for everyone to hear before turning my attention back to Monique and asking "that is if it's still something you want to do?" This time only saying it loud enough for her to hear.
I nearly melted when she smiled up at me and said "of course it's okay with me, but if you want to hang out with them you can. I don't want to stop you from having fun" she said back
"No. No your not I promise. Like I said earlier anything you want we can do just as long as your smiling while doing it". Before I could even finish the sentence She had on an even bigger smile than before. I couldn't help but stare at her as she was staring back at me a few seconds passed before I heard someone cough. Snapping us out of our stare off I turned my head and saw all of my crew members with adoring smiles on their face as they looked at Monique and I. I laughed to myself as I saw a very wide smiling Briana holding up her phone like she was about to or had already taken a picture of us after lowering her phone she winked at me and gave me a thumbs up. 'Whatever that means' i whispered to myself.
"Alright well, we are going to head out now. Y'all be careful alright." Chris said before he too winked at me 'what the hell is up with those two and winking' I asked myself shaking my head
After everyone had exited the stage I turned my attention back to Monique as she was looking down towards her shoes and playing with her fingers. I've caught her doing it multiple times and for some odd reason I though it was one of the cutest thing I have ever seen anyone do.
"Are you ready." I asked
"Yup" she replied excitedly.
