Chapter 30

Shawn's POV

The past two weeks have been amazing. I've gotten to perform at Madison Square Garden again, two arenas in Pennsylvania, two in Connecticut, two in Ohio and two arenas in Virginia. With a very busy schedule the past two weeks I am thankful that we were given a four day break. We just finished up our last show in Virginia and we are going to be on our way to Florida were we will relax for a few days before performing again.

Laying down in the back room waiting for the bus to start up. I stared at the ceiling as I waited for Moni to come back. Since the day we landed in NY we've watched Netflix every night until we both fell asleep. I usually ended up going to sleep after her because I'd be stuck with looking at her. Everything about her drew me in. From the hair on her head to her child like foot size. I liked watching as her eyes fluttered closed and her breathing went to a calm and steady pace. Some nights she'd shake in her sleep and mumble words that don't really make sense to me. I feel kind of hopeless sometimes because there were a couple of nights were she had tears running down her face and she'd tremble like crazy. The only way I knew how to calm her down a little bit was by singing or holding her close to me. Not that I minded or anything it's just I wish that I could make whatever was bothering her go away. Every Time I try to bring it up to her or her friends they avoid it or look like they are about to cry so I try not to bring it up but it's definitely something that I wish I had answers to.

I was pulled out of my thought by the sent of Vanilla as someone rested their head on my chest and wrapped their arms tightly around me.

"Hi" she said happily

"Hi" I said as I wrapped my arms around her and made myself more comfortable

"What are we watching tonight?" She asked

"Whatever you want"

"N-n-n-n-No, I've picked the last 4 movies it's your turn to pick something" she said as she lifted her head up and looked at me. We are nothing but an inch apart and it made me a little nervous

"I'm uh... I'm f-fine with anything you pick. S-Sometimes I don't even watch it because I'm too busy looking at-" I stopped mid sentence once I realized what I was about to say

"To busy looking at what?" She asked as she smirked at me in a way that made me want to attack her lips right then and there. It's like she could hear my thoughts because she started to lean in as did I. Within the past couple of weeks Moni and I have come pretty close to kissing several times but we always get interrupted. It's like they know every time we are about to kiss because as if on que Kayla along with many others burst into the room making us jump.

"Ohhhh......are we interrupting something" Lexi said smiling with her arms crossed

"N-no. We were just about to watch a movie" I said nervously as I looked back at Moni who was still looking at me in close proximity with the same smirk gracing her lips. She's been doing that a lot lately and I love every time she does it.

"You sure because we could come back" Briana said. I was too busy looking at Moni who looked as if she was looking down at my lips. I tried responding but my mouth was too dry so I just shook my head not bothering to look up at them once. A minute or so passed by before someone spoke up

"So you two going to continue to look at each other or are you going to acknowledge our presence anytime soon so that we can tell you guys what we have planned" Chris asked

Before I could answer Moni spoke up.

"I'm just waiting for him to answer my question"

"What'd you ask?" Mia asked
