Ever since Louis had voiced that he didn't find himself attractive and thought low of himself, Harry had made sure to drop little sweet comments to him.
Like for instance, if Harry came home, instead of saying, "Hello Louis," he would say, "Hello gorgeous."
Louis would give him a small smile that didn't reach his eyes.
He really appreciated all of the nice comments, he did, but he's trying to learn to accept them. All his life, in school, people would tell he he wasn't good enough and was too ugly to ever be loved by someone.
"Hazza babe?" Louis whispered, more like muffled, from his position. He was laying on the couch, his head laying on Harry's lap and his face pressed into Harry's stomach. Harry's arm was wrapped around him.
"Yeah lovely?" Harry replied.
"Nothing, just wanted to let you know that I love you," Louis said.
Harry moved his hand to pet Louis' hair.
"I love you too."
