Third Person P.O.V.
The next week was manic. The group found themselves under pressure trying to get everything underway for Louis and Eleanor's engagement party at the weekend.
Meghan and Perrie had chosen a modern style of venue. They were now helping Liam and Niall decorate the place in the style that they hoped 'Elounor' would love and appreciate. Zayn was working hard to complete the perfect set list to be played out during the party and was going to make sure that there wasn't a silent moment the whole night. Harry and Aimee, however, were doing their job a little differently.
Harry kept asking Aimee to meet him at random places each day they were planning the guest list. The first day it was at Harry's apartment that used to be Aimee's home also. They would work for about an hour then spend the next three hours messing around and talking, laughing and joking. The second day, Harry invited her out to a cafe for coffee. To the untrained eye, this would seem like a normal business kind of meeting. In Harry's eyes, it was another day with his ex girlfriend; the girl he has loved for a number of years; the girl who he is slowly trying to win back and call his own; the girl who was in a relationship with Josh. Harry didn't seem fazed about Aimee's relationship, even though she was slowly falling in love with Josh - but didn't realise she was. It had always been clear that Aimee would always have strong feelings for Mr Styles, and Josh knew that. Every day he worried she would break his heart and go running back to the curly haired boy. As the day would come to an end, he would sigh with relief but soon worry about if it will happen the next day.
After a few weeks of worrying, Josh slowly started to trust Aimee and he truly believed she was over Harry. Boy was he wrong.
The third day consisted of Aimee sneakily telling Josh she was away with her dad - again - to attend business meetings about the cafe. In reality, she met up with Harry as usual, today it being at a restaurant where they would have lunch. PHarry greeted Aimee with a small, but meaningful, kiss on the lips. This was not the first time. This was in fact the third or fourth time they shared a sneaky kiss away from the peering eyes of loved ones and paparazzi. Aimee would always smile with pure happiness after each kiss. It was as though she was single and having some fun rather than being in a relationship and cheating on her partner who loved her dearly. "You look beautiful today. Even more than yesterday." Harry complimented. Aimee's cheeks began to change a slight pink colour as she looked down at her shoes.
"You don't look to bad either." She grinned at Harry as she skimmed her eyes over his body. Harry took a quick glance around, spotted no paparazzi and took Aimee's hand, intertwining his fingers with hers. Aimee didn't protest, but followed Harry inside the building where their love affair would continue.
Meghan was the most observant of the group. Every time she would ask if they had invited everyone on their list, the cheating pair would either make up an excuse or leave the room completely. That left her thinking suspicious thoughts, but she couldn't be sure until she seen something for definite. If she didn't have her own duties to worry about, she would be a lot more concerned. It was awkward working with Liam, since they were having a small separation for a while, but the job needed to be done. Meghan found a few free hours and decided to head down to the skate park and begin to train for the up and coming skating competition. She met up with Josh, who was already there with Ryan. She was a little hesitant at first but she soon pushed her grudge aside and began having fun with the two boys. After a while, Josh headed home, leaving Meghan alone with Ryan. He tried to teach her a simpler way of landing any jump, but she found it even more difficult than the one she already knew. Ryan stood at the bottom of the concrete step where Meghan was practicing the landing. He held out his hand for Meghan. She took it, as he was almost like a lifeline to stop her from head butting the concrete if she fell.
Little did Meghan know, Liam had gone to the skate park to watch her train to see how she was getting on. He loved watching Meghan skate and seeing how happy it made her. He couldn't wait for this stupid separation thing to be over and done with. Liam didn't like Meghan not speaking to him on a regular basis. She was the main thing in his life - apart from his massive career obviously. Liam watched as Meghan held on tightly to Ryan's hand as she jumped off the concrete step with her board. Jealously gushed through him and it soon took over his body. He continued to watch as Meghan finally landed the jump successfully. She hugged Ryan and said something to him, which was inaudible since Liam was in his car. He'd had enough. He drove off, back to his home, where Meghan would be returning to shortly. Liam mentally debated with himself on whether he should confront Meghan about this or not. A thousand thoughts filled Liam's mind as he sat in the living room, waiting for Meghan to come home.
How long have they been "training" together?
Was he overreacting?
Was the jealously a playing mind game on him?
Meghan's P.O.V.
It was dark by the time Ryan and I finished training for the day. I got into my car, muscles aching and freezing cold. I drove home; the only thought keeping me awake was a long, hot shower that was waiting for me when I got there. I pulled into the drive way and locked my car. I got into the house and threw my keys down on the little stand in the hallway. I stood and listened. I could hear the TV on in the living room so I assumed that's where Liam was. I didn't go near there but went straight upstairs and jumped into the shower. I came out and went into the bedroom to get a fresh pair of pyjamas. I jumped out of my skin when I saw Liam sitting on the edge of the bed. "Don't worry, I'm just getting pyjamas." I quickly pulled them out of the drawer and went into the bathroom to change. I went back into the bedroom to use my hairdryer. Liam still hadn't moved or spoke. I quickly dried my hair and went to walk out when he finally spoke.
"I don't want you in that competition anymore." He said. I whirled around on the spot.
"What?"
"You heard me. I want you to pull out."
"I don't have to listen to you." I went to walk out when he grabbed my hand, pulling me back. Thankfully, I knew he wasn't planning on hurting me. He just wanted my attention - which he hasn't had for a few days now.
"Please, pull out now and I'll leave you alone. I promise." I pulled my hand away from his. I leaned on the door frame of the bedroom.
"But... why?"
"I just don't want you to set yourself up for something like this. You're probably the only girl in it."
"So what if I am?" I was starting to get annoyed. I could feel my temper rising slowly.
"Please, just stop training for it." Where is he going with this?
"I might consider it if you give me a decent explanation as to why?"
"I, um... I need you to help my sister on the day of the competition..." Liam knew as well as I did that that was a crap excuse.
"Just cut the crap and tell me."
"I- uh... I-" I raised an eyebrow as he struggled to find words to say. He then sighed. "I just don't want you being around Ryan."
"What? That's crazy. Why?"
"I saw you two today. You were holding his hand and hugging him and everything. I don't want to lose you to him." Was he spying on me? I wanted to explode but I knew that wouldn't resolve anything. I didn't want to lose Liam but I didn't want to drop out of the competition. Not now that I'm getting better.
"Nothing's going to happen Liam."
"I don't care. I don't want you seeing him."
"Fine, whatever. Goodnight." I walked out of the bedroom and into one of the two spares. I climbed into the bed feeling tired but unable to sleep. I didn't like this bed. It wasn't as comfortable as my own in the next room. I debated whether to go in and sleep in it but soon changed my mind as I remembered I'm supposed to resist being all coupley with Liam.
Aimee's P.O.V.
Harry walked me down to my car from his apartment. He kissed me goodbye and I climbed into my car. I checked my phone when I got home. I had a text from Josh.
Josh: Hey babe, call me when you get home from the meeting xxx
I was still buzzing from my day with Harry that I only felt a small ounce of guilt. I sound like such a slut right now, but Harry makes me feel like a completely different person. I don't feel like I'm in a relationship with Josh when I'm with him. Harry wants me to end it with Josh so that we don't have to sneak around anymore, but I just can't find the balls to do it. I can still hear Meghan's words in my mind;
"You're gonna pay if you hurt Josh."
That thought disappears when I see Harry but reappears again when I see Josh. I climbed into bed, calling Josh's number. He picked up after the third ring. "Hey babe!" I smiled slightly at his voice.
"Hi."
"How are you? It feels like I haven't seen you in ages." Josh and I started talking. I had to make up a whole load of lies though. While we were talking, I went on Twitter on my laptop. I had a DM from Harry.
"Hey beautiful, I miss you already. Can't wait to see you tomorrow. Shall we "work" at my place tomorrow again? ;) x"
I replied with;
"Sure x"
"Babe, are you there?" Josh asked.
"What? Uh, yeah. I have to go, my battery is going to die and I'm really tired anyway."
"Ok, don't forget about our lunch date tomorrow." Shit. I completely forgot about that. I don't know what to do. My head says go with Josh but my heart says forget him and go with Harry. Which one do I listen to? I bid goodnight to Josh and turned my phone off. I was about to close the laptop when a Skype call came through. It was Harry. I accepted and his gorgeous face popped up.
"Hello." He gave me a cheeky grin.
"Hey."
"Kiss me?"
"Harry, I need to tell you somet-"
"Not until I get a kiss." I rolled my eyes and blew him a kiss. He pretended to catch it and put it in his pocket. "So, what did you want to tell me?"
"Um... it doesn't matter anymore." He nodded. How much longer can I keep living in this massive lie?
