Serenity's POV

Please don't make any sudden moves
You don't know the half of the abuse

We all kind of just sat around Julie's apartment in an awkward silence after she left.  None of us were really sure how to react to her leaving, so we let her go.

As far as we knew, everyone was cool with each other except for her and Michael. And that's what Keisha and I needed to fix.

***

"We need to get Dan back."  I blurted out randomly.

"What?"  Keisha asked, looking up from her laptop.

"Dan. He's been avoiding everyone for two days now. We need to get him back. Besides, the Phans are getting worried and you know how they are when they get worried."  I sighed.

"You're right. We need to talk to him."

And with that, we were off to get Julie's best friend back.

***

"Dan, come on! Let us in! We need to talk to you!" I yelled, banging on his door.

Keisha had given up about 10 minutes ago, and was just sitting against the door.

"Phil, won't you let us in?" Keisha groaned.

"I'm trying to, but Dan won't let me out of the living room! I can't get to the door!" Phil exclaimed.

"We need to talk to you, Dan!" I yelled, exasperated. He could certainly be extremely stubborn.

"I don't want to talk to you girls! You'll just cause more drama!" Dan shouted back at us.

"YOU'RE JUST CAUSING MORE DRAMA BY NOT LETTING US IN YOUR FLIPPING APARTMENT." Keisha finally screamed, fed up with Dan's attitude.

There was silence on the other side of the door.

After a few moments, the door opened to reveal a very angry, yet defeated looking Dan.

"What do you guys want." He asked flatly.

"We need you to come back to us. We need your help." I stated.

"Are we helping Julie?" He asked simply.

"Of course, you stupid." Keisha answered.

"Alright, I'm in." He replied, walking out of the apartment, leaving a flabbergasted Phil behind.

The plan was fairly simple. We just wanted to talk to Quinn and convince her to explain everything she did to Michael and Julie, proving to Michael that Julie still loved him, and proving to Julie that Michael wasn't a monster.

Of course, things didn't work out that easily.

***
Getting Quinn to come talk to us was the easy part. Getting her to cooperate was a completely different story.

"Quinn, we know everything you did. Please, just tell Julie and Michael so things can be normal again." I pleaded for the millionth time.

"Why should I? I obviously did all this to make people unhappy and to make me happy. Why would I go back on that?" She argued.

I was fed up with this. Quinn didn't respond to my kindness or Keisha's sass. Our last resort to get Quinn to do anything was Dan.

"If you don't go voluntarily I will force you." Dan threatened.

"What do you mean?" She asked, easing an eyebrow.

"I'm 6'3. You're 5'4. Think about it." Dan stated simply.

Finally, after not wanting to be carried to Michael and Julie, Quinn gave in.

***
Getting Michael and Julie in the same room together took a lot more effort than we thought it would.

Dan had to physically carry Julie bridal style to my apartment.

Michael had to be dragged my Calum, Ashton, and Luke.

Even once they were together, they sat on opposite sides of the couches.

We stuck Quinn in between them, and the rest of us stood opposite them.

There was a long, painful silence until Keisha finally snapped, "Talk."

So Quinn explained.

She explained everything. She explained how it was her who implanted the idea of Julie not truly loving Michael into his mind. It was she who kissed Michael, not the other way around. She explained how she used Finn to distract Julie from everything happening in California.

But then she went even further.

She explained how she split up Jack and I just for fun. She explained how she toyed with Calum just to ruin Keisha and my friendship.

And that's when she started to cry.

She explained why she did all of this.

She did it because she was jealous. She was jealous that everyone else was happy with friendships and relationships. All Quinn wanted was for someone to like her, but no one ever did. She felt hurt, she felt attacked, so she did something about it.

Seeing Quinn like this strangely didn't make me pleased, like I thought it would. I felt genuinely heartbroken. I felt responsible for her actions. I felt like we all were.

Dan was right.

"Welcome to the club of being the cause of drama."

Quinn got up and left the room when she started sobbing violently. No one went after her.

Julie and Michael stared at the ground in silence for a moment, before Michael spoke up.

"You still love me, Julie?" He asked.

"I always have, and I always will, Michael." She replied.

"Do you forgive me for all the crap I've done?" She added.

"Only if you'll forgive me for all the crap I've done." Michael said in response.

They looked at each other and smiled.

Then they rushed into a hug.

"I've missed you Julie." Michael sobbed.

"I missed you too, Mikey." Julie whispered back.

Everything seemed to end in a happily ever after.

At least, until someone walked in.

"I'm home!"
