I am currently fluffing up pillows and getting the living room ready for the sleepover tonight when suddenly I hear the front door opening.
I freeze, my grip on the pillow tightens and my eyes widen in panic.
I remember locking the door. My parents are the only ones with a key. Dad is out of town and mom left for work not even an hour ago.
My heart beat quickens and I cautiously make my way out of the living room, when a figure suddenly appears in front of me.
                              What do I do now?
                              I scream, obviously.
I let out an ear splitting scream, in hopes of getting my neighbors attention.
"What the hell, Coco?!" A voice shouts.
                              Rebecca?
Yup, definitely Rebecca, dressed in her Eeyore onesie.
Hitting her on the arm I yell, "Oh my God! What the fuck Rebecca?! You fucking scared the shit out of me!" I huff out, my heart still racing from fear.
"And you almost made me go deaf so I think we're even!" she yells back at me, still covering her ears.
"What else am I supposed to do when you practically break into my house?! How the hell did you even get in?!"
Rebecca shrugs, pushing past me and walking into the living room. "I know where your mom keeps the spare key," she says as if it's the most casual thing ever.
I follow her inside muttering incoherent curse words, "her terrible hiding places will definitely get us robbed one day."
She throws her bag down on the floor, taking a seat on the couch. "I'm loving the panda onesie, by the way," she winks.
                              "Why thank you."
I attempt to do a few poses for her, making her laugh and throw a pillow right at me. Due to my terrible reflexes, I am not able to catch it in time, causing it to hit me right in the face.
Picking up the pillow, I hurry over to her sitting down beside her, "enough messing around. You still have to tell me about your date with Logan," I squeal, sitting up straight, ready to feed my inner fangirl with some cute stories.
I see her eyes light up at the mention of Logan and a huge smile breaks out on her lips.
"Okay, okay! So," she lifts up her feet and places them on my lap as she gets comfortable on the couch, "It was honestly one of the best dates I've ever been on. When we were leaving the carnival, I wrapped my arms around his torso and hugged him, thanking him. He didn't say anything though, he just hugged me back while his chin rested on the top of my head."
I couldn't help but grin like an idiot. "Aw!" I cooed.
"We stayed like that for a bit," she continues, "And then out of nowhere he whispers my name. The most unexpected thing happened afterwards. He said 'I like you.' 'A lot.'" She squeals, her hands flapping around, slapping my thighs repeatedly.
"Oh my God! What happened next? What did you do? Please tell me you told him you liked him back!"
"Shh! I'm getting there, calm your tits woman! Okay then - well, I froze. I was completely shocked. And I could feel his heart beating really fast, as if it'd pop out any second, although I'm positive mine was the same. Then finally I snapped back to reality. I looked up at him and he looked scared shitless, he was really nervous, I mean come on, who wouldn't be?! He probably had no idea what my reaction would be. His eyes searched all over my face, looking for answers I suppose." She stops, as if she's thinking over something.
