Ninjago One-Shots

Maddie x Jay

Thunder crashed loudly overhead as Maddie darted for the light in the distance, the only sign that gave away the Destiny's Bounty's location.  She cursed under her breath as she stumbled over a tree root and smacked to the forest floor.

She had just finished her shift in Ninjago City and had started on her way back when the thunderstorm struck.  She had gotten soaked to the skin in less than 5 minutes and was freezing cold.

The wind didn't help much at all either.

Maddie cursed again when she lost her footing and acidently sent off an earthquake.  Luckely, she was too far from Ninjago City for it to cause any harm.

After what felt like forever, she finally reached the Bounty.  To her surprise and anger, Jay was on the deck, playing in the storm.  

"Jay!" Maddie screamed at him.  He looked at her a smiled a boyish grin before continuing his game.  Maddie then stormed up to him, grabbed him by the sleeve, and yanked him inside.

"Just what do you think you're doing?! You're going to get yourself killed!" Maddie yelled at him.  Jay only looked at her, surprised.  Maddie sighed and then realized how quiet it was.

"Why is it so quiet around here?" she asked Jay.  Jay rolled his eyes.  

"The others left to meet up with Cyrus Borg and to discuss new training ideas and equipment.  They won't be back for another few hours because of the storm."

"So it's just you and me."

"Yep."

"So why did you stay here and not go with them?"

"Because I wanted to see you the second you got back and to have alone time with you."

The second Jay said that, he clamped his mouth shut, his face turning as red as Kai's gi.  Maddie only studied him and smirked.  Jay's face turned even redder.

"I, uh, that didn't, um, I'll be in my room!" Jay stammered and took off.  Maddie only rolled her eyes and followed him.

She has loved Jay for awhile now and was never sure if he returned the feelings.  What he said a few moments ago confirmed that he had feelings for her, too.

Maddie reached his bedroom door and heard Jay grumbling from inside.  She knocked. "Um, Jay?" she asked and opened the door, only to see Jay without his shirt on.

"Um, I'll come back later." Maddie said and backed up.  Jay darted toward her and grabbed her wrist. 

"Please don't." was all he said.  Maddie sighed and stepped back into the room.  That's when Jay noticed she was soaked.

"Um, would you like to borrow my pajamas until your clothes are dry?" He asked.  Maddie shrugged.

"I'll take that as a yes." Jay said and handed her his pj's.  Maddie took them and went to the bathroom to change.

When she finished, she saw Jay in the living room, well more like heard.  He was on the phone with someone and hung up after Maddie walked in.

"Maddie! Um, the others won't be back until tomorrow.  They kind of got rained in." Jay laughed while Maddie rolled her eyes.  Jay studied her a minute, bit his lower lip, and sat on the couch.

"You look good in my pj's ya know." He commented as Maddie sat down next to him.  She blushed madly.

Jay looked at her again, a mischievious gleam in his eyes.  "Do you also know that there is something on your face? Here, I'll get it." That was the last thing he said before smashing his lips on Maddie's.  She was socked at first, but slowly melted into it.  Jay then wrapped his arms around her waist and she wrapped her around his neck.  They stayed like that until they lack of oxygen was too great.  They both pull away, gasping for breath.

Maddie looked at Jay, shocked and madly blushing.  He only grinned at her. "Got it." he said before leaning in for another kiss.   

They kissed for about another 10 minutes before exhaustion got to them.  They cuddled up on the couch, Maddie laying on Jay and Jay wrapping his arms around her waist.

"I love you, you know.  Have since I met you." Jay murmured sleepily.  Maddie sighed.

"I love you, too Jay."  she replied and both fell asleep.

The next day, the others were there before they woke up.  Nya grabbed a camera and took a photo of Maddie and Jay before they woke up. The photo was going in the scrapbook. 

It would take Maddie and Jay awhile to find out about the photo.
