Continued from my previous Brainfreeze.

Recap:  Neuro was on his way home, bumped into Zane, and smashed his head onto the sidewalk.  He has a concussion and Zane has decided to tend to Neuro during this time.  Neuro doesn't like this, since of his "minor" crush on Zane, but he has no choice.

5 days till Christmas.

Satono Apartments, Ninjago City (I'm too lazy to come up with different houses/apartments for people)

I also just realized I have a bad tendency to make Neuro suffer.  Oops.

TRIGGER WARNING

Mentions of alcohol, death, and an eating disorder.  You have been warned.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Neuro couldn't tell you which had more embarrassing:
-Telling the other Masters how he got his concussion (which led to Turner making a horrible pun about him being the Master of Mind, so he should be immune to head injuries.  Thankfully, someone had slapped him a few seconds later, as assmued through the loud smack.)
-Having to tell the Ninja why Zane would be unavailable for awhile
-Zane carrying him Bridal Style up 15 flights of stairs to his apartment in front of at least 7 of his fellow apartment renters
or
-When Zane gave him too large of a dose of painkillers, which led to him being higher than a kite for a few hours.  ("But, Zaaaaaaaane, I feel fine! See?!"  "Neuro, please get down from the table, you'll only hurt yourself-" crash "more.")  He begged Zane not to share that fiasco to ANYONE.  What happened there, stays there.
Neuro sighed as he lied propped up on pillows on his king-sized bed, his head wrapped in bandages with an ice pack held firmly to his right side of his head.  During the "Painkiller Fiasco", he had shattered his right wrist and, no, the doctors weren't happy and Zane had to learn how to properly administer painkillers before he could continue to care for Neuro.
He sighed again and started counting the squares on his blanket for the sixth time.  He wasn't allowed any technology or anything that might strain his eyes and possibly cause a headache.  So reading was out, too.  He couldn't of been more bored.  Typically, though he didn't really like Christmas, he would go get hot chocolate with whipped cream on top and chocolate shavings on top of that and go walking around the city admiring the Christmas lights like he used to do before his mother--
Neuro rapidly shook his head to clear it, only to instantly regret it when his head began pounding and the world spun severely.
Just as he was about to let out a scream of pure frustration, Zane gently knocked on his bedroom door and slid into the room, holding a tray of food.
"Are you hungry?  I haven't seen you eat anything in almost two days.......so I made you an omlette, stuffed with peppers, onions, spinich, tomatoes, and cheese.  Plus a side of butter toast and a glass of milk.  I wanted to make you a peanut butter sandwhich, but you had no peanut butter and you are probably hungrier than that,"  Zane murmured, setting the tray down in front of Neuro, who was surprised.
"You noticed?"  he asked sheepishly.
"Yes, are you anorexic?"
Neuro debated for a moment.  Part of him wanted to confide in Zane and give him the chance to be closer to the Ice Master, but the other part didn't want Zane know just how messed up he was.
He sighed, "Sort of.......I don't purposely forget to eat, but it happens.  Anyway, why didn't you cook bacon?"
Zane didn't look convinced, but didn't pry. "During the Tournament, when we were settling down to eat after driving Chen off and getting our powers back, I noticed how you didn't eat the ham Karloff made.  Then I overheard you explaining to Karloff that you were a Vegetarian, which is why you don't eat meat.  Can I ask why you don't have peanut butter?"
