"Aw, is the little ninja upset?" Ultra Violet cooed at Cole, who was currently locked up inside a cell somewhere underground.  Cole scowled even further at Ultra Violet's comment, but didn't respond.

He was not about to get into a fight with the resident psycho of the Sons of Garmadon.

Ultra Violet let out her signature psychotic laugh at Cole's expression.  She was greatly enjoying herself.  Seeing one of the pathetic Green Ninja's ally locked away in a cold, stinking cell below ground was the most satisfying sights in her life and in her career.

Cole continued to glare at her, wishing with all his heart he could slap her, or more specifically, punch her in the face.  Or, better yet, teach her that just because she is a so-called "general" of some rogue biker gang, her shit is absolutely disgusting and she better learn to stop when she's ahead.

He sighed and closed his eyes, in a futile attempt to ignore Ultra Violet's laughing.  This only caused her to laugh harder.

"Are you trying not to cry?  I bet you are.  You Ninja are helpless without the others.  Then again, you are all helpless without your powers as a crutch and without your vehicles and mechs.  But it's all for show; you guys aren't heroes, you're frauds.  But the people of Ninjago can't tell the difference between the two.  All you guys do is run around Ninjago looking like a unicorn barfed all over you and pretending to be heroes.  I bet--"

"Like you don't do the same.  Except for the fact you look like a Crayola Crayon Reject," Cole snapped, open his eyes into narrow slits.  He told himself he wasn't going to get into it with her, but she had successfully pushed him over the edge.  Of course, her annoying pitched voice and constant laughing will push anyone over the edge, no matter how patient and sane they are.

Ultra Violet recoiled in shock, blinked, then started laughing again.  "Wow!  It talks!  I never knew that baboons were intelligent enough to do that!" she cackled, looking at Cole with renewed interest.  She opened her mouth to speak again, only to be cut off by another Sons of Garmadon member, asking for her advice on which tires provided the best traction, but also provided a higher maximum speed.  Ultra Violet glared at the direction of the voice, then turned back to Cole with a look of fake remorse on her face.

"I guess I must go to deal with these numbskulls.  But I'll be back, shunkems."  Ultra Violet teased, blowing Cole a kiss before walking away.  Cole gagged and sat down on the floor near the bars.  He hoped Ultra Violet wouldn't come back at all, but, knowing her, she'd be back in a couple of hours.

He sighed and banged his head against the cell's barred door.  He wished, more than anything his friends would come get him out of this place.  Surprisingly, a small part of him wanted to stay.  The reason why was still a mystery to him.

~~~~~~Timeskip~~~~~~
Like he predicted, Ultra Violet was back in a couple hours.  He was still sitting cross-legged in front of the cell, head resting on the bars.  Ultra Violet sighed and sat down in front of Cole, casually spinning her sai in her right hand.  No surprise that she was the first to break the silence between the two.
"Are you sleeping, Ninja?" she asked, surprisingly in a conversational tone; no mockery or laughter in her words.  Cole noticed this and was confused in Ultra Violet's change in behavior.  He sighed and lifted his head off the bars to look at her.  She smiled upon seeing that he was awake.
"Oh, thank the First Spinjitzu Master, I thought I wouldn't be able to have a decent conversation," she said.
"Couldn't you just go talk to the other members of your gang?" Cole muttered.  Ultra Violet rolled her eyes.
"I could, but they don't exactly like to partake in the conversation.  They're too afraid of me to offer their own opinions about the topic we are discussing.  You, however, are clearly not a wuss when it comes to talking to me," she replied, exasperated, "Besides, I'm too worn out from those numbskulls to come up with different ways to insult you."
Cole blinked in surprise.  He never really thought Ultra Violet wouldn't exactly be able to freely talk to her companions.  He could always count on his friends, especially Kai, to offer their own opinion on something and to engage in a lively conversation.  He never thought he'd feel bad for any of his captors, but here he was, feeling bad for Ultra Violet and how lonely she must be.  Maybe talking to her wouldn't be so bad.
"So, what exactly do you want to talk about?"  he asked her.  Ultra Violet thought for a moment, then:
"Do you like music?"
Cole grinned and said, "Like, duh.  No one in their right mind doesn't like music."
And that's what they discussed.
From Michael Jackson to Johnny Cash to Ollie Osburn, all genres, all artists they could think of.  Neither one noticed the time flying by, hour after hour, until Killow started calling for Ultra Violet.
"Hey, UV!  We have an initiation to do!  Where are you?" he called.  Ultra Violet groaned and stood up, stretching.  Cole quickly followed suit, only now noticing how stiff he was.  Ultra Violet turned towards Killow's voice and hollered back, "I'll be there in a moment!"  Then turned to Cole and leaned close to the bars.
"You know, Ninja, you're not that bad when you're not running around playing hero," she said.  Cole laughed and leaned towards her in turn.
"You're not that bad either, when you're not running around Ninjago causing havoc," he replied.  Ultra Violet laughed with Cole.  Once they were done, they noticed there was only the bars between them.  Cole blushed a little, which Ultra Violet noticed.  She smirked and managed to give Cole a quick peck on the lips.  Cole's blush deepened when she pulled away.  Ultra Violet started walking backwards towards Killow, smirking.
"I'll see you later, I presume?" she asked, cheekily.
Cole grinned and said, "I'd bet on it."
Ultra Violet laughed and, after a swift bow, turned and ran off.  Cole sighed, still smiling.  That's why he wasn't sure he wanted to leave.
He didn't want to leave Ultra Violet.
Shaking his head, Cole sat down on the floor again.  Waiting for someone to come back down the hall.
He secretly hoped it'd be Ultra Violet.
Though when asked he'll always deny it.  No matter who asks.
