Ninjago One-Shots

Glacier (REDONE)

A/N: It was brought to my attention that Zane seemed out of character so I will redo this one-shot. New storyline as well!

Zane's P.O.V:

I hummed to myself as I cooked today's breakfast.  The others were still asleep but no doubt will be up when they smell food.  They always do.  

I had just flipped the pancake when Jay poked his head in. "Morning, Zane!" he said.

"Good morning, Jay. How'd you sleep?" I asked.  Jay just shrugged and went to the dining room.

I sighed, grabbed the pancakes, and went to the dining room. Everyone was already there, except one.

Cole.

"Um, where is Cole? Surely he would be up by now?" I asked my brothers. Kai shrugged. 

"Said he had other things to worry about right now. But he'd be here for lunch." Kai told me.  I just shook my head and sat down.  Cole really needs to stop skipping breakfast.  He always does and it worries me.  I don't know why but I worry more over Cole's health more than the others.  Last week, Kai was injured in a battle and I hadn't really worried about him.  It was always Cole.

I just sighed and started eating.  I will try to figure that out later.

Cole said he would be here for lunch and he is still in his room.  I being the one to be most concerned about him, dished him up some noodles and took it to his room.  I was a little nervous about knocking, but I did.

"Who is it?" someone asked from the other side of the door.  He sounded a bit irritated.

"Cole? It is me, Zane. I brought you lunch." I replied.

"I'm not hungry, Zane."

"But you skipped breakfast."

"Because I wasn't hungry. I have something else that needs to be taken care of that is more important."

"But your health is important."

"Your's and the others' health is more important than mine right now."

"You need to eat something at least."

There was a sigh from the room and Cole spoke.

"You're not going to leave until I eat, are you?"

I bit back a smile and said, "You are correct."

There was another sigh and Cole opened the door and invited me in. I smiled and sat on his bed after giving him his food. I noticed his desk had paper, pens, rulers, and protractors strewn all over it.  There was also crumbled up pieces of paper all over the floor.

"Sorry it's a mess but I wasn't expecting visitors." Cole said while eating his noodles.  I felt my face heat up and I shook my head.

"I-it is fine."  was all I could say.

Cole gave me a concerned look and sat next to me. "Are you feeling alright? Do you need Jay to repair you again?" he asked. I felt my face get even hotter.

"Zane?" Cole asked. I nodded.

"I am fine. Thanks for asking." I said. Cole gave me a look of disbelief and put his hand on my face.

"I always wondered if Nindroids could blush and I guess that is a yes." he said and removed his hand.  I was shocked. I was blushing?

Cole looked me over a couple of times before he smirked.  I have to admit, he looks hot when he does that. Wait, what?

While I was trying to get my thoughts back in order, Cole had snaked his arms around my waist.  I didn't realize that until he smashed his lips onto mine. 

It took a few seconds to process what was going on before I kissed back.  Cole pulled me closer to him and I wrapped my arms around his neck.

The kiss could have lasted awhile but Cole needed oxygen.  We pulled away and he was gasping for breath. I sat there, patiently waiting for him to get his breath back.

Cole swallowed and looked at me and smiled before he spoke. "I love you, Zane. There reason why I didn't leave my room today was because I was trying to figure out a way to tell you."  he said. I felt my face heat up again.

"I-I love you, too, Cole." I replied. He pulled me into a hug and we stayed like that for a few minutes, enjoying each others company. Well, until the alarm went off.

Why does it have to ruin everything?
