Audrey's POV:

If it wasn't for the fact that the door just randomly opened and Rhett's dad walked in, me and Rhett probably would've gone upstairs and never came down.

But yes, me and Rhett's little make out session was ruined by his dad, walking right through the door and finding me on his sons lap, straddling him shirtless and no bra on.

I immediately jumped off Rhett and grabbed his shirt, holding it over my chest. Rhett stood up, standing beside me and rubbing his bottom lip, obviously embarrassed that his dad just walked in on him about to have sex. I wanted to punch him. I'm the one half naked!

"Uh, dad. I uh, didn't know you were coming back this soon." Rhett obviously didn't want more stress on his dad. And this didn't help. From what Rhett told me, that's what makes the most sense. His dad looked like shit. His business suit was dirty and wrinkly, halfway unbuttoned and his tie too loose around his neck. I knew where he had came from. But if it weren't for Rhett telling me, I wouldn't.

He looks between me and Rhett. "I can tell."

Rhett looks at the ground and rubs the back of his neck, his eyes darting over to me from under his hair. I sighed, rolling my eyes. He wanted me to say something. The little bastard.

I turn to his dad. "Hi, I'm Audrey. I'm sorry you had to see this. I'll just be leaving now." I hold the shirt tighter to my chest and try walking past him, but he grabs my bicep, looking directly at his son. "Why don't you go get your cloths. I'll drive you home. Rhett, you too."

"D-Dad you don't-"

"I don't have too? Oh but I want to. Let's see who's keeping this little whore on a leash." Rhett instantly looks at me with wide eyes. I narrow my eyes on his father. Then yank out my arm. "Excuse me? Whore? Did I hear that correctly?"

"Yes you did. Now get dressed so I can talk to your parents."

I smirk, leaning back some. "My parents are dead, pops. Good luck with that."

His eyes suddenly get a little bigger. "W-What?"

"They're dead. As in, not with us anymore. Yeah, I live in a house on my own, working two jobs and going to school. And you just called me a whore? Way to make me feel even worse."

He looks over at Rhett, obviously feeling bad. Rhett just kinda looks confused. I smirk, but instantly give that innocent look when his dad looks back at me. "Oh I'm s-sorry. I had no idea. Um, you go wait in the car and Rhett will gather your things. He'll drive you home."

"Thank you." I turn away and make my way to the car. Once in in, I pull on my shirt and laugh. Geez how clueless can old men get?

"That wasn't funny, Audrey." Rhett says when he finally makes it to the car. I laugh and put in my seatbelt, catching the cloths he throws my way. "Oh but it was! Come on, Rhett! It got us out of trouble and it was hilarious. You can't tell me it wasn't." He smiles and rolls his eyes starting the car.

"You're no good for me." He says, shaking his head but smiling his ass off. I smirk and lean over, poking his cheek. "But you love it."

"Where the fuck have you been Audrey?!" My dad tells as soon as I walk through the door. I sigh and roll my eyes, trying to walk past him and to my room. But he blocks me. "I'm fucking talking to you Audrey!"

"I was out with some friends! Chill the hell out I'm not dead! Even though you'd probably be happy if I was!"

"What the fuck is wrong with you?! Why are you always like this?!"
