Cameron's POV
We showed up at the party 5 minutes early but everyone was already here.
Cameron: Stay by me the whole time, okay Carter?
She nodded and locked fingers with me. I squeezed her hand and she got her other hand and wrapped it around my arm.
Cameron: Are you okay?
She nodded and looked at me.
Carter: I just feel out of place. That's all.
I smiled at her and unwrapped my hand from hers. I placed it on her back and rubbed it to calm her down.
I led her to a couch with a few other people on it. She sat on my lap and layed on my chest.
Cameron: Are you sure you're okay?
She nodded and smiled. I wrapped my arms around her and pulled her even closer to me.
Cameron: Want to go somewhere?
I whispered it in her ear so the people around us couldn't hear it.
Carter: Where to, Mr. Dallas?
She smiled and I laughed. I sat up and she grabbed my hand. I led her upstairs to the balcony. I opened the doors and she gasped.
Carter: It's beautiful.
I smiled and she looked at me. I stood behind her and wrapped my arms around her stomach and rested my cheek on her shoulder.
Cameron: Let's go.
She looked at me confused. I pointed down to the pool, pulling my shirt over my head.
Carter: Are you crazy, Cameron?!
I laughed and sat on the edge of the balcony. She looked at me like I was about to do something stupid. I jumped off of the balcony and into the pool, the water splashing on the people outside. They glared at me, but I ignored them.
Carters POV
I still had my swimsuit on from earlier at the beach, so I took off my shorts and hoodie. I hesitated before sitting on the edge and jumping off. I landed right in the middle of the pool and Cameron was under the water. He came up behind me and grabbed my waist. I opened my mouth to scream but then the water got in my mouth. I reached the top and coughed up all the water. Cameron came up from the water and smiled.
Cameron: Are you okay, babe?
He looked amused. I hit his chest and kissed him before diving back in the water. I got to the bottom and then saw Cam swimming towards me. I tried to swim away but he came up and grabbed my waist, this time pulling me in for a kiss. He kissed me and I kissed him back. I went up to the edge of the pool and he followed behind me. I smiled and he looked at me.
Cameron: You're gorgeous, Carter.
I smiled and he wrapped his arms around me again. My lips brushed against his to kiss him but I was interrupted by police sirens. Cameron looked at the house and saw red and blue lights from inside. I looked at him and smiled nervously. He got out of the pool and grabbed me. He reached up to the balcony and grabbed my hoodie and shorts.
Cameron: Let's go.
He grabbed my hand and pulled me out of the side gate of the house. What the hell was going on?
