Dancing and Moonlight

I stand under a tree, regretting my decision to come to the dance. The warm night breeze is refreshing though. I close my eyes, lean against the trunk of the tree and let myself enjoy the slow music. Maybe it was worth it. Even if I don't dance, this is a magical night by itself.

"Wow." I open my eyes at the sound of the voice. Kaoru is looking at me with wide eyes. I look down at my dress. It was actually very pretty. I'm surprised I even found it in my closet.

"You look amazing." He tells me. I look at his outfit. It's white pants and a white vest with a black shirt and a blue tie. I smile.

"You don't look that bad either." He smiles and hold out his hand.

"May I have this dance?"
