OHSHC In Your Dreams [KaoruxReader]

I groan and shake my head as Kaoru finishes his bad pun. Why I agreed to go to town with him escapes me. Not only that, but somehow I agreed to not bringing a car. Walking is painful. We walk out of the store and stop for a moment, Kaoru to finish laughing, me to catch my breath from lack of exercise.

"Did you do that homework?" I ask, completely changing the subject. He shakes his head.

"Nah, I usually wait til the last minute."

"Same. I hate doing homework."

"I don't like doing it either...but I know something I do want to do." He wiggles his eyebrows at me.

"That's not funny." I tell him.

"Come on, it is a little." He smiles. I can't help it. I smile back. That's all it takes for Kaoru to completely stop what he's doing and lean towards me. He takes my chin in his and gently kisses me. Hey man, I'm not complaining here. We stand there for a moment on the sidewalk just kissing. It's just starting to get a little intense when I hear a screeching noise. I put it in the back of my mind and focus on...other things. All of a sudden Kaoru pushes me away from him, causing me to fall to the ground. I look up just in time to see a pickup truck barrel into Kaoru.
