OHSHC In Your Dreams [KaoruxReader]

Oh Yeah

I finish relaying that much of last night to Kaoru. He nods in agreement. By this point we're sitting side by side on the floor, backs against the wall. Now that we've collected our thoughts we both remember what happened last night, but Kaoru insisted we check with each other to make sure we remember correctly. He sighs.

"What next?"

After a long car ride we got to his house. Kaoru leads me down the hall into a room. I walk in. It is huge. I slowly walk around the room until I sit on the queen bed. Kaoru clears his throat. I look at him.

"There should be some dry clothes in the closet." He nods to a door in the corner of the room.

"Thank you so much. I don't know how to make it up to you." I tell him. He shrugs.

"I'll figure out how you can repay me." Kaoru says with a smirk. I roll my eyes. This guy.

"Whatever. Thanks. Honestly I'm really tired so I'll probably change then go to bed." I tell him. He nods.

"Sounds good. I'll see you in the morning." Kaoru bows slightly then leaves the room, closing the door behind him. I sigh and walk towards the closet. I open the closet and grab the first shirt I see. I don't care as long as it's warm and dry. As soon as I pull the purple shirt over my head and throw on some running shorts I flop onto the bed and pass out.

I wake up to someone saying my name. I open my eyes as see eyes filled with worry. I sit up and look at Kaoru. His face is flooding with concern.

"Are you okay? I heard you screaming so I came to see what was going on." He explains. Oh. That. I must have screamed in my sleep. It makes sense, especially after the nightmare I was having.

"It was just a dream." I tell him shakily. I'm still freaked out from my dream and I'm not quite sure I want to be alone in this ginormous room all night.

"But are you okay?" He asks. I hesitate just long enough for him to wrap me in a hug. That's when I lose it. I start crying and I can't stop. His embrace tightens and I practically collapse in his arms. After what seems like forever of having an emotional breakdown I stop crying and regain my senses. Kaoru has somehow situated us so that we're laying in the bed side by side. His arms around me. My breathing becomes less ragged as I calm down. I lean into my pillow, exhausted. I can feel Kaoru stroking my hair softly, trying to make me feel better.

"Do you feel better?" He asks.

"Yes."

"Do you want me to go?"

"No." I whisper. I feel him nod. I end up falling asleep to him humming softly in my ear.
