Chapter 9: Invincible

Lena woke up on Monday morning and started dancing for no reason what so ever.

"I'm so happy, I feel invincible!" Shouted Lena throwing her hands in the air.

"Lena get ready for school!" Her mom yelled up the stairs.

Lena got ready for school and ran down the stairs still in a very happy mood.

"Whats got you so worked up?" Asked her mom in the car.

"I'm so excited about my new powers, when do you think I'll get them?" Asked Lena.

"I assume that you'll receive your powers by trying on different people with telepathy but since you got your original power from your father then I might try on him if something else doesn't work." Said her mom.

"So, do you know how many powers I will get?" Asked Lena.

"You I'll definitely get the mind reading and the underwater breathing and you'll still have the telepathy, but I don't know what other ones you will get." Said her mom.

A huge smile ran across Lenas face as they drove the rest of the way to school.

"Hey, what's got you so worked up today?" Asked Allie as she and Atlas walked up to her and Atlas gave her a kiss on the cheek.

"Well," Lena started as she pulled them to a quiet halfway. "I have extra powers." Their mouths dropped.

"What do you mean you have extra powers, the only powers are telepathy, nothing else?" Asked Allie concerned.

"No, I'm different, normal people just have telepathy, but my mom told me that I have extra poison so I have more powers, here let me try one." Lena closed get eyes and tried to read Allies mind.

...

"Yes! Ok so I unlocked my first power, mind reading, Allie, you were thinking of the words, phase 2, what does that mean?" Asked Lena suspiciously.

"Oh, I'm writing a book so I got inspiration for my second chapter." Said Allie slowly.

"Ok, see you after class." Lena skipped off and heard Allie and Atlas talking after she left.

After a few classes, lunch...

"Hey, I've been meaning to a ask, what is your book about?" Asked Lena carefully.

"Well, I've only gotten through one chapter but it's about a haunted house that nobody wants to go into and everyone goes missing and its super scary." Said Allie very realistically.

"Awesome, I'd love to read the first chapter, can you bring it to school tomorrow?" Asked Lena.

"Sure, but not tomorrow cause I have to go see my mom's friend in England so I will be gone for the rest of the week." Explained Allie.

Lena didn't believe her but she new that Allie would never lie, right?

Later that day...

"Bye!" Yelled Lena.

"Are you coming?" Asked Allie.

"No, I have fashion club." Replied Lena.

"Ok, see you later." Said Allie as she went to the carpool lane.

About fifteen minutes later at fashion club...

"Today class we welcome back Lena Anderson." The teacher started as a few people cheered. "Today is the start of fashion week, you will have one week to plan, design, and make whatever you want."

Lena started off by planing an entire outfit just for her, but she didn't get to finish drawing it before they had to leave.

"So how was fashion club?" Asked her mom as Lena got in the car.

"A-ma-zing, we have create anything we want for fashion week!" Lena said excitedly.

"Okay, well I hope I can see you work on it a home." Said her mom.

"Of course, oh and also I found my mind reading power." Said Lena.

The rest of the way home they talked about Lenas powers. When they got homelena went up to her room and finished her design and started sewing.

"Honey, come down for dinner!" Yelled Lenas mom.

"Ok, let me just finish this last stitch." Replied Lena.

Lena accidently pricked her finger, very hard, when changing the needle on the machine, the only problem was that she wasn't bleeding a drop.

"MOM HELP!" Lena yelled urgently as her mom ran upstairs.

"What's wrong?" She said as Lena held up her finger with the needle still in it.

They stood still in amazement at the new power she discovered.
