"Today is the day." Said Lena looking in her new mirror.
"Lena, come on we're both going to be late!" Yelled her mom up the stairs.
Lena felt confident for what was coming as she was wearing brand new clothes.
A pink and white cowgirl jacket with the ends tied, causual white t-shirt underneath, pink bow headband, hair down, blue jean shorts, and tan flats.
"I see your wearing some new clothes." Said her mom walking to the door.
"Yup, and they surprisingly fit perfectly." Said Lena following.
They got to school and everything was normal, and I mean super normal, no loud crashes or random strangers.
But the only thing not normal was that Allie nor Atlas were there, Jack was sick so she expected him not to be there.
Where are they? Thought Lena looking around trying to find her group.
Lena walked into the classroom and everyone looked fancy and the exact same, even the teacher.
It was like the godfather but with color.
Lena went on with school till lunch, they got fancy foods and clean tables.
She walked home and everything felt so bland.
Her mom didn't come home cause she had to take the night shift and Toby had a sleepover.
At exactly 10:00 pm Lena set her GPS to the given address from her father and started driving.
Around the 2nd hour she was tired and hungry so she stopped at the gas station to fill up both her car and her stomach.
"I'm sorry we don't take these cards." Said the cashier.
"Ok well I don't have any cash and it's time for me to leave so-" Lena paused and looked in her wallet.
There were 10 20 dollar bills in her wallet.
She paid the man and started her journey once again.
She got tired around 12:30am so she stopped at a motel.
"Time to get some sleep." Said Lena plopping on her bed.
She woke up at 6:30 and started her journey once again.
She kept following her GPS for a few more hours then it was time for breakfast.
Lena stopped by McDonald's for a biscuit.
She passed by a toll bridge so she had to pay.
"5.00 miss." Said the desk person.
"I only have tens." Said Lena pulling one out.
"Look lady, I got a long line and your wasting my time." Yelled the person.
"Geez." Said Lena handing her the ten anyways.
Lena drove along the bridge and she heard a clock ticking as she went along it.
The time was currently 12:00 and Lena was stopped at a red light.
"What's taking so long I'm running out of time!" Yelled Lena to nobody inparticular.
Lena was stopped at the light for 10 minutes but she was the only one stopped.
She stopped at a normal place to get some food and started her journey once again but now the afternoon talk show was on.
"Alright ladies and gentlemen, it's time to play, GUESS THAT RIDDLE!" Said the radio person.
Lena decided to call in and guess.
"My name is Lena." Said Lena.
"Ok Lena now, the riddle is, what is a seven letter word that contains thousands of letters?" Asked the radio guy.
"Um, a mailbox?" Said Lena cautiously.
"Correct! You just won a brand new watch!" Celebrated the person along with Lena.
A few hours past and the time was currently 4:00 in the afternoon, Lena was getting tired from driving so she stopped at a gas station, for the third time, to stretch and fill up.
"How much time does it take to fill up a tank of gas?" Asked Lena.
"Excuse me miss, what time is it?" Asked an older man.
"It's 4:10 in the afternoon." Said Lena.
Another few hours past and the time was 7:30 pm. Lena stopped a salad place for some dinner then was back on the road.
The time was currently 10:00 pm and Lena arrived at her destination.
It was a small one room house with a sign that read "Lena, go I to the middle and say time to go three times."
Lena did as she was told and was brought down to a huge room with tons of electronics.
"Hello Lena, I've been excpecting you."
