Chapter 20: Time To Die

"Who said that?" Asked Lena looking around.

"Why, it's your old daddy." Said Lenas dad.

"What is this place?" Asked Lena.

"This is where I work, this is where you die!" Said her dad as machines grabbed Lena by her limbs and stretched her in the air.

"Why are you doing this?" Screamed Lena trying to break free.

"I'm the watchover, but what you don't know is that, I am the most powerful super human on the planet!" Said her dad coming towards her.

"But why are you doing this to me?" Cried Lena.

"You, my dearest one, are at the same power level as me, only you have 4 powers and I have 5." Explained her dad coming into eyesight.

"That still doesn't answer my question." Shouted Lena still struggling.

"Well, I'm evil which means I need to be number one, but I can't do that with you in the way." Said her dad walking up to a stand.

"What are you saying?" Asked Lena cautiously.

"It means, I'm going to kill you!" Said her dad flipping a lever.

The lights shot on as 3 more pedestals arose from the floor, the walls opened, reveling all of his plans and watches from all around the world.

Floors opened over the pedestals and up came Allie, then Atlas, then Lenas mother.

"Bestie, babe, mom!" Said Lena staring at them each individually.

"Hey."

"Hi."

Her mom just fake smiled.

"Bet you didn't see that coming." Laughed her dad.

"Why are you all doing this?" Asked Lena starting to cry.

"We had to." Said Atlas.

"I know how you feel." Said Allie.

"I'm so sorry honey." Said her mom.

"SILENCE!" Yelled the watchover as a ton of cookoo clocks blared in the air.

Everything went silent after.

"Now, if you would all take your place I would like to begin." Said the watchover as everyone sat down.

"What are you gonna do to me?" Asked Lena.

"First we have your sweet little boyfriend, he is going to electrify you with lasers cause he is the electromagnetic scientist of this operation." Said the watchover pulling a switch as Atlas typed in a code.

Long pointed lasers emerged from the walls all pointing at Lena.

They powered up and in a minute they were blasting electricity from all angles and Lena was not doing well.

Lena screamed as she was being burnt by the strong current.

After a few minutes it all powered down and Lena was reveiled from the smoke.

"Well now that phase one is-" Started the watchover turning around only to notice Lena didn't have a scratch.

"Why didn't you burn?" Screamed the watchover clenching his jaw and tightening his body.

"You think you could hurt me, I have a power where I can't be physically hurt." Said Lena recovering from the electricity.

"Well, now it's time for phase two. Allie here, your best friend, is our marine biologist, she is going to submerge you under water into a giant tank of poisonous fish." Said the watchover as Allie flipped a few switches and pushed some buttons.

A large tank full of fish and water emerged from the floor as Lena was lifted higher.

"Let us see if you survive." Finalized the watchover.

Lena was drowned in the tank of poisonous fish and squirmed around with her eyes and mouth closed.

She was placed there until she stopped struggling and layed still in the water.

"Pull her out." Commanded the watchover.

Allie reversed some levers and Lena was lifted from the container and was hung to dry still hanging above the ground.

"Why arn't you dead yet?" Shouted the watchover with rage deep in his voice.

"I also, *cough, have under-, *cough, water, *cough cough, breathing powers, *cough." Stumbled Lena trying to get the water out of her system.

"Why is this so difficult!" Screamed the watchover nocking something over.

"Cause you don't have the time to pay attention to your own daughter." Replied Lena with a better breathing system.

"Last phase, your mom got a job as an assistant nurse, which means she can give you shots, this shot will make you die instantly." Said the watchover.

Her mom came over and gave Lena the shot and she fell asleep.
