Chapter 17: 17 Birthdays

It's been a exactly 3 months of driving lessons and Lena only has 3 more. She missed the fashion show. Atlas and Lena have been spending lots of time together. Allie now has a boyfriend named Jack. Lena becomes a junior in a month. Toby becomes a 5th grader in a month, same as Courtney. Toby and Courtney still like each other and do almost everything together. Last but not least, Lena turns 17 in a week.

"Atlas, I love you so much." Said Lena kissing him on the lips.

"I love you too." Said Atlas kissing her back.

"You know we are in a school hallway right?" Said Allie budding in once again.

"Yeah but I just love my boyfriend so much and I'm so excited to spend my birthday with him." Said Lena.

"Barf." Said Allie.

"Hey, you can't say that when you have a boyfriend as well." Objected Lena.

"Yeah but me and Jack arn't all lovey dovey." Stated Allie.

"Hey sweet cheeks." Said Jack coming in and suprising Allie with a kiss on her cheek.

"Hey surgar sprinkles." Said Allie kissing him on the lips.

"Not lovey dovey my butt." Said Atlas as he was given the death stare my Allie.

Toby's school...

"Hi Cupid." Said Toby as Courtney wallked by.

"Hi Toby, sorry, I didn't have time to come up with a nickname yet." Said Courtney taking her seat at the front.

"Today I'm giving you all morning reeces goodbye." Said the teacher as the kids raced outside.

Toby and Courtney made their way to the pond where they sat and chatted.

"Are you gonna be here next year for fifth grade?" Asked Toby cautiously.

"No I'm moving to California idiot!" Said Courtney.

Toby made a sad face.

"I'm kidding dumbo, I'm staying here for as long as I know." Teased Courtney.

"Ok, good, you had me worried." Said Toby relieved.

"Bro, come play kickball." Shouted one of Tobys friends.

"Is it okay if I go?" Toby asked Courtney.

"Go ahead, I will cheer you on from here." Said Courtney as Toby ran off to play with his friends.

It's been a long week of love and birthday planning but its finally Lenas 17th birthday.

"I need confetti there and streamers there." Barked Lena.

Lena got a call from Atlas. "Whats up?"

"Can you come to the school gym in half an hour?" Asked Atlas.

"My party starts in half an hour." Said Lena.

"Just come to the school gym in half an hour." And Atlas hung up.

"Mom, can you take over the beginning of my party when everyone comes cause Atlas needs me at the gym?" Asked Lena.

"Sure sweetheart, just be quick so I'm not alone." Said her mom. "And I already dropped Toby off at Ms. Rochesters house if you were wondering."

"Thanks mom, be back soon." Lena left and walked ran to the school cause she can't drive yet.

At the gym...

"Atlas I'm here where are you?" Asked Lena on the phone waking into the gym.

"SUPRISE!" Shouted tons of people as the lights popped on.

"What is this?" Screamed Lena.

"Me and Allie moved your planned party to our suprise party for you!" Said Allie approaching her.

"This is amazing, but what about my mom?" Asked Lena hugging Allie and Atlas.

"She knew, she's on her way here." Said Atlas smiling.

"Now let's get our party on!" Shouted Allie as everyone cheered.

The party started and a few minutes later Lenas mom showed up and they continued the party for a few hours until it went dark around 6:45.

"Bye, see you later!" Said Lena to the last guest.

"Ugh what a night." Complained Lena sitting down.

"Yeah, Jack and I are gonna head out, see you at school." Said Allie hugging Lena then walking out the door with Jack by her side.

"What now?" Asked Lena.

"Well, I made reservations for that super expensive and delicious restaurant." Said Atlas with a smile that went to his ears.

"I love that restaurant, can I go mom?" Asked Lena jumping up from her seat.

"Go ahead, I will go pick up Toby and be home before midnight." Stated her mom.

"This has been the best birthday ever!" Said Lena skipping to the car.
